iNeibo Universal GPS HUD Head Up Display KMH MPH Speedometer with 2 Modes (HUD/Standard) & 2 Level Speed Alarm for all Cars Vehicle Truck --Quick and Easy Installation (Green LED Display)

Item came on time and boxed just like an Apple product, Installation was fairly straight-forward after I read the directions thru 3 times and then put the slightly confusing instructions aside...and just played with the keys learning as I went along. The vehicle is a 1962 Chevy and the speedometer no longer works and the part broken is no longer available. I tried using standard mode on the dash and found that adequate for my use but the heads up display on the inside of the windshield was PERFECT for me. I mounted the unit on the dash directly in front of the steering wheel and the film low on the windshield (it doesn't obstruct the view, being low where the hood is the background). The green numbers are very visible, stand out nicely. When the vehicle stops the display gives the car battery volts (acts as a voltmeter). A minor complaint: the power cord runs from the left side of the unit to the cigarette lighter...the right side connection would make for a shorter cord run. A word about speed accuracy: you can set it at DEAD ON or one, two or three or four miles per hour faster than. Most speedometers are set at the factory 3 mph faster. Excellent product. Cheaper than a speeding ticket.

I found the speedometer works well. I have a Lexus SC430 and I can not read the car's speedometer with the top down and sunglasses on. I use it in the direct mode and can read it well in all conditions and it fits right in the well of the car's speedometer. I do have one problem with it - although it shuts off when you turn the ignition off, for some reason when i leave it pluged in to the power port it completely drains my battery over nighr even if i turn it off at the plug. It is a pain to have to unplug it every time i park it . I don't understand why it drains the battery( the battery is less than a year old). I do like the fact that it dims itself whenever I drive into a shady area.

Good features in being able to select kph vs mph, brightness, etc. but that it would NEVER lock on to the satellites and start displaying the speed was a problem. Returned for refund.

Ships fast. HUD can be used two ways either reflecting off windshield or upright on the dash. Works great

Update. 1/4 of light strip went out after 2 weeks. It rained and more condensation built up inside strip.

The iNeibo Universal GPS speedometer has stopped working, worked well for 2 or 3 weeks, then it stopped working!!

hard to use manual

My car is in kilometers so needed a mph display.These heads up displays are great, and this one is but it wont dim at night and is too bright to use!Other than that, very happy!

There is only one thing to say: it does not work. All it shows is horizontal bars. So in reality no stars! I already have one of these devices that works very well so I believe this one is a bad specimen and I want it replaced. What do I have to do to get a replacement?

Excellent display, only downside is Olsen signal in forest or surrounded by tall buildings.

It's clear to read, accurate but a little tricky to setup.

This unit comes in a smart cardboard presentation case which contains two mirrored-surface films, a double-sided sticker, a tacky mat and a switched 12v cigarette lighter connector with a long lead, enabling installation just about anywhere on the dashboard. A manual is also supplied but, as with many far-eastern products, it is not as clear as it could be!Installation is straight forward and the choice of HUD or Standard, direct, reading is handy. I went for the HUD option, maker's default, and had only to change the kph option to mph for UK use. If you are using it in HUD mode I advise the mirrored film be installed first, in your preferred sighting point on the screen, otherwise the display will not be visible in strong sunlight. I suspect that this film is also beneficial in keeping the unit within operating temperature in sunlight as it will reflect some of the heat away.It acts as a voltage meter when static, going into sleep mode when left for any time and/or when it loses satellite signal. Whether the voltage option is useful or not is debatable. I have zeroed the alarm options at present so am uncertain as to how good they might be.Like many electronic accessories for use in a car, such as mobile phones or GPS map units, leaving this on the dashboard top, even behind a mirror, may present a temptation for some less scrupulous individuals although its cost may dissuade all but the most desperate. It is unclear how long the tacky mat will last and frequent attachment/removal actions may cause it to deteriorate rapidly. Only time will tell.There are many competing products now being advertised on Amazon and many of these come from China/Hong Kong directly. Shape, size and flexibility will be some the principal options when choosing your model. I have noticed, however, that prices for what is apparently the same device are quite disparate in some cases. The model that is reviewed here is supplied with Amazon Prime delivery although sourced from a third party in the US and it is far from being the most expensive option!
