Fantastic Pocket Organizer
This organizer allows me to carry the handful of tools that are with me every day. The material is nice. After a few months it's holding up pretty well. The zipper is good quality, the stitching is good, and the overall feel is nice. It looks and feels like an old school tool pouch. My most surprisingly useful tool is a 4" pair of Olfa utility scissors. I had no idea I would use them so often. But now I can easily pull them out of the pouch, while it's still inside my pocket. After cutting whatever needed cutting, I then return them to the pouch, again, while still in my pocket. The large main compartment of this organizer allows this to be done with ease. People think I'm just carrying scissors in my pocket; they never even see the pouch.

Super sturdy, feels like it'll last forever
I bought this to use as an organizer for the inside of my bag. I had a flashlight, a TSA-safe multitool, and a power bank that were all just floating around loose in there getting beat up. This works perfectly. The power bank (and the short charging cables) all fit in the zipper pouch, the flashlight and multitool fit in the front pockets, and I had a pocket left over to stick a pen in and a back pocket to stick a Field Notes in. Perfect. I think it'd be a little too bulky to pocket-carry, unless you wear cargo shorts. I just wear Levi's, and even though I buy the ones with a little bit of stretch in them it still was a tight fit in my front pocket. For my purposes though it was a home run.

Really impressed by the quality.
I used to carry a lot of EDC (Every Day Carry) gear all loose in my pockets. Things like a pocket knife, small pry tool, pen, flashlight, hank or bandana, worry stone, coins, patches, pocket notebook, all sorts of different things. I started to look to ways to better organize what I carried on me each day. I was looking for a caddy to use and came across this one. I was a little nervous because some of the reviews stated that the field notes wouldn’t fit in like it claimed. And a pocket notebook is something I have on me every day and what had drawn me to this particular pouch/caddy. Knowing it was coming from Amazon and I could return it if things didn’t fit right, I took a chance and ordered it. It arrived timely and I quickly realized that everything that I had planned on storing in this caddy fit perfectly without issue. Specifically shown in the pictures are: a Moleskine cashier journal pad (same dimensions as a field notes journal), a Fellhoelter mini Ti bolt action pen, a Morris friction folder knife, and a ZW mini Ti pry. I think the price is perfect as I’ve spent more on items of less quality. The only thing I can see wearing out is perhaps the leather trim. Otherwise the canvas is strong and waxed nicely and the zipper is a YKK so you know that’s solid. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pocket organizer.

Well made with quality materials
I needed mostly a holder for a small notebook and a pen/pencil and flashlight and this fills that purpose perfectly. It's very well made and the materials appears to be off good quality. I also Ike the made in Mexico by a skilled craftsman feel to it. I'll likely pick up a couple more for specific purposes. I've purchased before from Hide & Drink and will continue to do so.

Great pocket organizer
Love this item. Holds a BIC, a small knife, pen and note book plus room for cash and change. Great little pocket pouch that is well worth it.

A Few Shortcomings - May Not Work As Intended
The good - I got the color I ordered - fatigue charcoal ("fatigue" is the green/OD version). The not so good - As others have noted (pun intended), the Field Notes notebook (3.5" wide) will not fit well. It took me several tries before I could get the notebook all the way down. It was like the notebook was catching on something halfway down. And then it was difficult to pull the book back out. And then it was a struggle to get the book back in again. So, it is not practical for me to try to use my Field Notes notebook with this pouch. It's just too much trouble getting it in and out. As one picture shows, I was able to put a Rite-in-the-Rain 3" wide notebook in the pocket. The 1/2 inch narrower width helped even though the RnR notebook is thicker than the Field Notes book. This is why my rating is only 3 stars - the vendor tries to promote the larger Field Notes book even though it will not fit (or fit easily). The sides of the pouch are not straight but curve in slightly. In the middle, the width is just over 3.75". It's that lack of a quarter inch that is keeping the Field Notes book from going in easily. These are the outside measurements. There is less space inside due to the materials used and the sewing. The Rest - The middle outside pocket is technically 1.625" wide between the stitching. But the widest item I could get in the pocket was a 1.25" wide Leatherman Skeletool multi-tool, which actually is only about 1" wide in the middle. The thickness of the item takes up a lot of the space. I have a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife (with a third-party clip attached) in the pocket as shown in one of the pictures. I was also able to insert the Leatherman Rebar multi-tool, about 1.2" wide. The pen is a standard BIC ball-point pen. Any larger pen would probably be too big to fit. Of course, other pens and/or pencils could replace the knife, The other item is a small AAA flashlight, also a place for another pen. I put some small, mostly flat items in the back pocket such as band-aids, hand wipes, lip balm (not shown). With the items shown in the picture, the loaded weight was 8.8 oz, just over 1/2 pound. How will I use the pouch? The items in the pouch are what I carry in my day pack when hiking. So, the pouch will provide a place for the items I carry. And I can throw it in my messenger bag, again replacing items already in the bag. In summary, I wish the manufacturer had spent more time and materials on making the pouch a fraction of inch larger than wasting time and money on the chain and patch I immediately took off.

Fits a field notes, Fenix pen, AAA flashlight and small Buck easily. You can stick a chap stick or fingernail clipper in the slots instead too Fabric seems to be of high quality, top notch zipper.

El producto cubrió mis expectativas. El único punto en contra es que no llegó en el empaque original(según se anuncia). Pero es justo para portar mi EDC sin problemas.
