What's Not To Like?
I've tried the blues in this set, but on an earlier pastel, I used MV's oranges and pinks. Gorgeous colors and they lay down rich and intense. Even received some of MV's other sets for Mother's Day and then had to buy a case for large pastels so I could sit and enjoy the display of colors. Only caution -- you'll have to wash your hands more frequently because they are so soft. Great addition to the harder style of pastel. If they're too chunky for your use, a judious break into some smaller pieces works. And, oh yeah, they come at a reasonable price.

Great pastels, but medium-soft rather than buttery soft.
Beautiful pastels, very vibrant, arrived unbroken and in good shape, good deal. They are medium-soft rather than very soft and work best probably for underpainting or the middle stages of a pastel painting rather than the finishing touches.

Like Butter!!!!
You can't beat the buttery, hand rolled, beautiful intense pigments of theses fantastic pastels! I have other pastels makes but Mt. Vision pastels are by far the best!
