Better than advertised! Am going to buy another one for my daughter.
Just received package today. Better than expected, no bad rubber smell, microfiber top surface feels like suede, good grip but not sticky. I am a lightweight yoga person 63yrs old, stretching essential for mobility, needed travel mat for both yoga at during travel, as well as being able to stretch out flat on the floor, when in airports on extended delays...I can only sit for so long, this will give me the chance to relax, breathe and listen to music horizontally. Love the fact that it is machine washable, can use it on the beach, already shook it out after using it on the floor, rubber backing seems to clean off easily...nice colors, I got the blue..am going to order the warm color for my daughter...shipped quickly & is as advertised. Carrying pouch nice material, easy to pack, allows the folded mat with rubber backing out, to slide into the pouch easily, well designed...happy with the product all around! It does weigh in a little heavier than some of the other advertised mats, but quality and function warrant the extra half pound...I don’t usually write reviews...this meets the travel needs!

Nice mat but heavy for travel
It's okay, but heavy for travel. I used it while I was on a trip & am happy to report that my hands and feet didn't slide. If I use it at home, I'll put it over a mat provided by the center where I work out, but the lack of cushioning is an acceptable trade-off for it taking up less space.

But overall great for my trip to europe
a true travel mat, very thin, don't expect to have any cushion for poses on your knees ect. But overall great for my trip to europe, i was able to practice in parks all over. The towel top has fantastic grip, folds nicely and fit in the front slip of my suitcase very easily.

Great for travel
Bought it for a long trip, I’ve been able to comfortably do yoga at my hotel. I do break a sweat but not excessively, it hasn’t been an issue so far. I’m at a beginner-medium level so I don’t do a lot of crazy stuff, but go through different sun salutation flows. I love that it comes with a carrying bag and that it is easy to put away in it. It is heavier than you would think but it barely uses space in my suitcase. It doesn’t have a strong smell like some new mats do. The colors and design are very pretty. Overall I would recommend it for traveling.

True to description, definitely like the feel and weight of the mat
Bought this as I desperately needed a travel workout mat especially after an attempt to work out on a dodgy floor of a hotel which shall remain nameless here. Positive spin on that? Sure, an easy one - inculcated profound passion to get a travel workout mat.Came across Tunods during my research and taking into consideration the reviews of others who have used it. I have yet to test it out and when I do, I’ll have to make sure to update my review. However, what I liked right out of the box to what I have observed, handled, and felt of the mat, weight, and bag that accompanied, I rate as 5 stars. The box the mat was packed in, did its job of protecting the mat with it arriving in perfect condition. Even had instructions printed on it on how to refold the mat and place back in the accompanying bag - nice one. Folded, the mat has a hefty feel to it and perhaps travellers who travel light, might have to rethink their packing or look at other options. But I have no issue - it’s already packed in my luggage for my upcoming trip. I’d rather offload a bunch of clothes than miss out in my workouts (especially as I don’t like hotel gyms no matter how posh). I like the design on the mat - Tunods make such pretty mats. The mat has a non-slip surface on both sides - that’s promising! Wait till I’m dripping with sweat and then I’ll comment again on whether I had slid off my own sweat or had remained nicely adhered to the mat (please, let it be the latter..)

Great travel yoga mat
My colleague told me about her travel yoga mat for exercising while on business travel, so I had to investigate. It came down to two choices and this was one of them. Although the other was a few dollars less, I chose this one based on reviews and the fact it has a cloth carrying case. The other one has a plastic case. Very happy with my purchase. Although I slip a bit in downward dog, I just flip a few inches of the top of the mat over to reveal the rubber side and put my hands there instead - no more slip. Other reviewers stated that it is not light. Although I agree, it's not an issue since I check my bag and it's on wheels.

This is a must-have if you do yoga when you travel!!!
Why did I wait so long to order this????? I do yoga several times/week, even when I travel. I’ve always lugged my heavy, thick rubberized mat with me in my suitcase in the past. My Tunod Travel Mat has saved me. It comes in a zippered pouch, packs amazingly small, weighs much less than my regular mat, has a great feel to the topside, and is totally sufficient for doing yoga in a hotel room or on the grass. I am definitely a fan of this baby and so happy I took the plunge.

One of my favorite things!
One of my favorite things!! Not hard to fold. Great grip. Perfect size. Excellent for travel!! Not too heavy. The feel of the mat itself is wonderful!! I have recommend this to all my friend who travel and like to stay fit. But don’t want touch hotel mats. They love it!! I’ve even gotten thank you gifts! The feel of this mat is so nice. I will never use a standard puff yoga mat again!!
