K&N, easy on, easy off. Looks great.
Can't go wrong with K&N. I always use these oil filters because I know the quality is there, from the gasket to the outside finish. This same filter comes in black, but I like the chrome forHarley because it is visible when looking at it. The nut molded on to the end of the filter is my favorite thing about it. No need to fumble around with the old filter wrench in that tight area, just a socket on an extension, and it comes off easy. No mess.

Chrome won’t get you home but this one will!
Great filter for older Harley! Fits great, threads are nice. So easy to use. Lube up the O rings and just spin it on. Good paint on this filter. Way cheaper than Harley plus fast shipping. Even has a hex for using a socket to get it off when needed. Functions like a filter…

Time will tell.
4 stars because the rubber gasket fell off. I pushed it back into place and installed it. There is zero room on my bike for filter wrenches, so the nut on the filter is a huge plus.

Maybe filters should be sent in a bow instead of plastic shipping bag, just a thought.
The package that the filter was in was a little damaged when shipped in a plastic bag. K&N filters are good quality, never any problems with them.

Not all oil filters are alike! The K&N oil filters are well built with very good internal filtering components. Easy to install as easy to remove. Step #1: remove the screw and completely drain the motor oil. Step #2: install the screw back in place with a new rubber O’Ring. It cost less than 0,25 cent for this most important piece that keeps the oil from leaking out of your motor. Oil filter installation process: life lesson - Step 1: a) lubricate the rubber seal with new oil; b) always fill the new oil filter with new oil until the oil filter is filled before installing it. This will ensure your motor to get immediately the oil it needs after an oil change. You will prevent your motor from the next start from internal damage to take place due insufficient oil flowing after the oil change. Step 2: clock wise, install the oil filter (manual hand process) to avoid damaging the filter threads and then use the 17 mm welded hex nut to tight the filter (turn between 1/2 ro 3/4 turn), no more. To remove the filter: Step 1 - use the 17 mm hex nut and unscrew the oil filter (counter-clockwise) and finish the removal in a manual hand process. My Harley Davidson, 2014 Ultra Limited remains in great condition! a 17mm welded hex nut can be used for quick and easy filter removal.
