It seems to have a connectivity issue. I have the highest speed Internet available and it still has connection problems. The picture is wonderful. the app needs work. Maybe if it was a cheaper option it could be worth something. For the money you're better off going with something else.

The media could not be loaded.  I received this door camera yesterday and immediately installed it on my door. Installation was simple enough, and the functionality is what I wanted.Setup:Installing the camera requires the following steps:1) Remove the plastic from the battery contacts so the camera turns on2) Download the app to your phone3) Register for an account4) Enter your wifi password, the app then puts a QR code that you read with the camera to connect it to wifi5) Camera connects and communicates with the app to complete setup6) If you have google home or Alexa, you can configure it at this time, I have two Alexa devices, so I connected the camera, which involves adding a new skillThe whole process was straightforward and had no issues with it. Last, you connect it to the remote ringer, which is a simple process of pressing the ringer button for 3 seconds, then the ring button on the camera.After the camera is configured, you can install it on your door. Mine came with the battery fully charged, so I did not have to charge it prior to installations. We'll see how long it lasts.Functionality:The camera has the following features1) Movement detection (via the camera or via a sensor). Detection triggers a notification to your phone.2) Ring bell3) Video to see who is at your door remotely4) Two-way audio communication, so you can talk to the person remotelySo far, everything works. The only thing I have not tried is having a flash card to persist the video. I've ordered one and I'll update the review after I install it and try it. I've emailed the seller with a question about it because the manual doesn't mention the functionality when a card is installed.I like this door bell as an alternative to RING because it does not use cloud storage. Is it safer? I don't know. I imagine the manufacturer could access it if they wanted to. Since it is not inside my home, I'm not too worried about it.Cons:I'm a bit disappointed with the angle of vision of the camera. I installed it at eye level, and I cannot see the floor. I'm considering moving it down enough that I can see the floor. I would have preferred the image to be rotated 90 degrees, so the angle is wider down to allow me to see packages.

The media could not be loaded.  Within a $100 range, this is really a steal. I like the compact size and thin which is work really well for my thin door frame. I don’t want to mount it on my sidings which looks ugly and not really secured. Secondly, there’s a chime included and I can control the volume of the chime as well as the tones. The best thing about the chime is that I can plug it in any outlet. My previous doorbell chime, I have to plug it in my USB adapter and plug it in the outlet. Not with this, and this simplified that part for me completely. Last but not least, the base is a strong plastic and not easy to break. Which helps securing the doorbell while being on the door frame, and making it difficult to steal. The quality of the video is great and you can see it at the end of my video. When it comes to App installation, it was simple enough for anyone to follow and set it up. Only when setting up with Alexa then the trouble comes. The ‘Xodo Smart’ login screen did not popup when I was in Alexa App Skills. Maybe because I have an Android phone and running older Android version. If it works with newer phones, let me know. I had to use ‘Smart Life’ instead, because it works fine with Alexa. Ultimately, it works fine for me now and the quality is great. I love it!

I bought this doorbell for my GF, so she could see who was ringing the bell without going to the door.The doorbell is a good size, has lots of features, and was not a difficult install, although the two "security screws" on the bottom of the bell mount are very small and I was nervous they would fall through my fat fingers and get lost. They really need a better way to do that, but I have since learned almost all the doorbells have a crappy security screw on the bottom.It took 2 tries to get the doorbell to work with the software, possibly due to wifi signal strength, but once connected it worked well. Pairing the chime was easy too, and it has a new home in the front hallway outlet. I was pleased to see how many chime choices it has! And it was pretty loud too.I charged the batteries before the install, and was pleased to note that it had two large capacity rechargeable batteries.The doorbell works well, and she could see and hear me without a problem.In all, a good purchase.

We had trouble answering calls because the connection is slow, even after we put one of the routers right inside the entry. The charge lasts a few weeks, but that's it, so it doesn't really work for us being gone over a month. I never could get the included ringer to work.

Once I set it up and it's connected to the internet things are good for an hour or so then it is offline. I have done this repeatedly. No purpose for this without the video. I have home security cameras from XODO that I think are great. Not certain if I have an originally defected doorbell or one that wasn't properly refurbished. Bad either way.

I do enjoy this as long as I am directly on it right at that moment it has a very clear picture, but there are many times that it does not show when people walk pass house on any pir setting and for some reason keeps disconnecting where I have to keep connecting it. When I go to hit playback can't rewind or fast forward. So for the money I spent on this I am very unsatisfied.

Not able to connect auxiliary ringer
