Works great! I had a iPod player collecting dust since I rarely bust out my old iPods. I was this close to throwing it out but thought I would do a quick search on Amazon for an adapter and sure enough, this clever device came up.After seeing it rated 4 1/2stars and reading some reviews I thought I would give it a try.Docks just as an iPod would so easy to install. Bluetooth connection is a breeze and in a matter of moments you’re listening to music from your phone or any other blue tooth device you are choosing to use. Sound quality is as good as your speaker system allows.If you still have an old 30 pin iPod speaker system laying around, buy this and bring life back to it rather than getting rid of it!

This worked perfectly with my Sony MHC-EC909IP but didn't work with my Sony LBT-ZX66I. Now I can't say for certain if it's the fault of the docking station or if the Bluetooth adapter just isn't compatible with the ZX66I. Several years back I bought a used iPod Touch and I seem to recall that not working on this ZX66I either. (I sold the iPod immediately thereafter because they are a virtually useless product once Apple ends support, so I can't try it again now to verify.So, I give this adapter a big thumbs up, it connected immediately with no nonsense and it works great and while I didn't test the full distance capability, I can say it had no connectivity issues 25 feet away and through my living room wall. Definitely a good choice and at a good price!

This product appears well made and good quality, but unfortunately, it was incompatible with my Sony equipment's iPod outlet. I could only get one speaker to play.

This adapter plays nicely it two ways. First, it sounds good when compared to a CD of the same music, at least when the music system and the listener (me) are both reduced in high frequency sensitivity. It also plays nicely with other bluetooth adapters. When it is unpaired from my iPhone, it does not force a repairing. This may seem like little to ask, but I've recently bought a bluetooth music adapter that does not play nice, and actually prevented me from connecting to other music adaptors.I found the adapter to have one other good feature. It can pair with two other devices at the same time, in my case a Mac and an iPhone. Thus I can play music from either phone or computer without having to unpair from either.I found the adapter to have one bad feature. The adapter goes to sleep if it is not paired to any device at all, and has to be turned back on to repair. I would think that the power required to leave the adapter running would be too small to warrant a sleep mode, do I don't understand this design choice. I get around this by leaving the adapter paired with my Mac when I leave the house with my iPhone.So all in all, I would recommend this adapter if you have a music device with a male 30 pin old-style iPod or iPhone connector. I've used it in an iHome iPod dock. I've also used it in an Apple iPod dock, but I had to plug the 3 mm mini audio plug directly into the jack of the adapter instead of plugging into the dock -- no big deal, really.In fact, I would recommend this adapter to anyone who wants to hook up an old stereo. All one would need would be a 30 pin iPod or iPhone USB charging cable and a 3.5 mm mini audio cable that splits into RCA plugs.I had no trouble maintaining pairing as long as the adapter and my iPhone were in the same room. My thought about the most troublesome aspect of bluetooth devices, which is random disconnections or glitches, is that there are many other devices that emit in the same frequency band, and which might cause interference. So performance of this device in your home may vary from the experience I have had.

Excellent! Long range Bluetooth to convert old iPod compatible devices into Bluetooth devices. I have two old Bose speakers this adapted perfectly with!

The unit for the original order was defective on receipt ( it paired correctly but there was no sound, not through the supplied cable as well) it was returned for a replacement.Well, The replacement, with occasional usage worked for approx one month, then it failed with the same symptoms.Since I’m out of the replacement window, I’m stuck with the faulty unit.Be aware of this info when purchasing,,

Excellent connection and easy to set up. I had previously used another brand and had to deal with buzzing interference off and on. This was quiet. I’m very happy with my purchase.
