EXCELLENT MAXELL BATTERIES
I am perfectly pleased with these batteries. I WILL NOT BUY any of these off brands that have names that I have never heard of. I use only Sony, Maxell, Energizer, Renata, Varta, Panasonic, Sanyo. These batteries come with a USE BY a particular date. I did not use all of them before the specified date and a couple of the batteries that were years past the expiration date were dead a beginning to leak to a very slight degree. So.....only buy as many of these batteries as you need for a period of time.

TEST before using!
UPDATE: Seller made good and sent replacements. Updated to 4 stars from 2.Previous review follows:We counted up that our household uses 9 different types of batteries, so a long time ago we bought a handheld battery tester to keep track of things. But instead of figuring out when batteries need replaced, I have found that the most important use is ~before~ the batteries are ever installed. We have gotten "brand new" batteries sold on here that are dead right out of the box (one was already leaking!); others that are "weak" because they are outdated or have quality control problems in manufacturing. This purchase is somewhere among them. All but two of the cells test very strong. But those two are completely dead. There is no date code or "use by" marking on the packaging. The price makes this part of the deal I suppose, but if you plan to use these or any of them in something important, TEST BEFORE USING.

Good price for the batteries.
The 10 pack of batteries were purchased for use in a Streamlight Nano. Sure they are just alkaline batteries, and for occasional use in this light are just fine. If you own a Nano, then you know it takes 4 batteries at a time. That can cost some money if you aren't careful with the brand and quality. To me this is a cost effective solution. I don't particularly trust the off name/super generic ones that you see sold 100 at a time. They tend to have batteries that fail and could leak. These are perfect as I don't have to hold on to a large inventory.

Batteries failed
Received pack of LR41/M10 batteries today in the USPS mail-delivery not a problem-but followed the directions on the back of the battery pack and installed new batteries in digital thermometers and indicator is showing LOW BATTERY-I used three batteries out of the pack and same problem occured. The batteries have a date code of 2028-but just so you know I used to work for maintenace at USPS for over 20 years and they run the letter mail on very high speed sorting machines that are equipped with giant several pulleys wheels that are belt driven and this could of compressed the batteries themselves or have a static issue. Also, the battery pack I noticed has a staple that wasn't removed on the blister pack.
