First, the shipping box and how the parts are packed is well though out so damage during shipping should only occur through the significant carelessness of the carrier. My outer box had some minor bumps and scratches. I could tell the carrier was reasonable with it and took some care during shipping. It is pretty heavy, so I was worried the shelves would be damaged somewhere. They were not. Its so easy to assemble and its design is well though out. It is very strong and has a sharp clean look to it I like the 1" thick shelves. Most cabinets like that have shelves that are between 1/2" and 3/4" inch. I bought the black. Everything fits together very well. I will be putting a 90 pound amplifier on the reinforced shelf and I think it will easily hold it. The quality of the steel pipe is very good. The adjustable feet are also great. I think this was a great value for the money. I see similar stands for up to $1000. They may look fancier, have a better finish, but this will do the job perfectly. No need for me to have anything that looks better for twice the price or more.

Solid audio rack for the price. Compared to other racks that are 3 and 4 times as much as this rack, this rack is nice looking, solidly built and was one of the few that can hold the weight of heavier audio gear like solid state amplifiers with big transformers. The only down side is that there aren't taller side support tube options. I would give it 5 stars if there was an option to buy a taller section to add more clearance for a particular shelf. However, I can see buying multiple units and either stacking them or robbing one set of longer tubes to make one rack customized.

I purchased this stereo shelf as a temporary solution until I build my own custom shelving system. This rack has delayed my project because it works so well, and it is not horrible to look at, either. It builds quite easily, all parts were included, is incredibly sturdy and will more than likely hold more weight than you would want to put on a sub 100 dollar stereo shelf. It holds my AV receiver and 2 amplifiers with ample space above each for proper ventilation. The rack is sturdy enough that I experience no feedback and am able to safely keep my turn-table on top.My only request for the manufacturer would be the option to have 2 'large' shelves, rather than just the one. I plan to add an additional power amp soon, and don't know where it's going to live quite yet.For under 100, you can't go wrong. If you're considering it, go for it. You will be happy. Arrived quickly, also.
