This just works and is reliable.
I used this for a jetson controlled RC project.Plug and play. It just worked right out of the box giving me the ability to use the fourth channel on my controller as an override for computer control. As it stands, this design requires the controller to remain powered up while the computer is driving. If there were a jumper to choose the chip's power input, or to invert the signal from the controller, then this would no longer be necessary.
