This door & window sensor works amazingly well with Home Assistant.I paird this up to my Pi running home assistant via a ZigBee conbee stick & it's yet to let me done.It's a really small sensor so perfect for hiding away on the side of a window or door frame. The double sticky tap on the back makes super quick the install & pairing up to your ZigBee hub is a breeze, it was found instantly on mine. It provides accurate results when opening and closing the door allowing for my automations to run flawlessly.Great value for money!

I've bought a few of these now. They connect well via MQTT in home assistant and I've had no issues with them dropping out. In home assistant they show the state including the battery life percentage and the temperature! I've got these set up to turn on and off lights when cupboards are open and closed as well as the loft hatch! No more fiddling around to find the switch or a torch! So far the battery life seems to be great and I don't think I'll need to replace the batteries any time soon!

Awesome product, used it to make smart home security system to secure doors and Windows. The zigbee connectivity is perfect. Easy to install and looks elegant.

Works well enough with Home Assistant and is a very discreet size & shape. Beware, though, if you have a number of Zigbee repeaters/routers, make sure to pair it when it is next to the router/extender you need it to operate through. It will not move to a better signal if you relocate the sensor.

On a mission to replace all of my Z Wave sensors and controllers in my home assistant installation.On my doors I previously had the sensitive Z wave strips which were extremely slim line and worked very robustly and very consistently. Was a bit worried that these items were going to be a bit too chunky and large when sitting on the exterior of the door, but actually they sit there quite nicely and after a day or two you don't really notice them.Respond extremely quickly actually much quicker than the sensitive Z wave strips.I now have quite a few Aqua components in my home assistant instal and they all work extremely well never had any dramas.Recommended A+

I bought 2 of the Matter over Thread P2 window and door sensors for my fridge and freezer, both connected straight away through the Home Assistant phone app. I do have google Wi-Fi pro and google displays round the house, not sure if this makes a difference, but I'm happy. Will be buying more in the future to replace my smarthings door and window sensors as these are so much better.
