Works perfectly.
I have had very bad luck with Chinese imitations so it's worth the extra money to get a genuine replacement carburetor.

Worked great right out of the box
After a few times rebuilding and resetting the old carburetor on my Echo trimmer, I decided to try replacing the carb with this new OEM Zama unit. Worked great right out of the box. No adjustments needed, though it does come with adjusting tools if you do. I was impressed to see the trimmer start on the first pull and happy to have that instant throttle response again.

If you want it to run correctly, buy a Zama. Cheap aftermarket carburetors are terrible.
Zama is a manufacturer that makes carburetors for big-name companies. You can verify that information online. I have tried the cheap, after-market units and they ALWAYS cause trouble. If you want it to run correctly, either buy the rebuild kits for the original, or buy an OEM replacement. When buying the aftermarket units, I started thinking that there must be more deep science to making small 2-cycle engines run correctly than I am capable of comprehending. Took professional weed whacker to the repair shop and he sent me home to put a Zama carb on it. He told me if I still needed him, I could bring it back. Honestly have not had problems since. Please save yourself a LOT of trouble and avoid the $15 carburetors. Please.

Repaired a 30 year old trimmer with this carburetor.
I have a nearly 30 year old Echo trimmer, and it was getting very balky and cantankerous. It would take a long time to warmup, and then wouldn't operate at full throttle without some coaxing. I ordered the 'rebuild kit', and this carburetor at the same time, figuring that if one didn't work, the other would. This wasn't listed as being a direct replacement, but took the gamble. It does have a slightly larger throat then the original, but after the rebuild kit didn't totally fix the issues, I figured I had nothing to lose.IT FIT!, and IT WORKED! No more dogging, or hesitation. The old carburetor jets couldn't be replaced, so swapping out the carburetor was the last resort. I had replaced all of the fuel system except for the carburetor last year. Why try to fix a 30 year old trimmer? Because this one spins counter clockwise, and I'm just used to it I guess. It's a GT-2000 and is good as new.

I am kinda new to Amazon and was a bit worried about this item. I am old fashioned , used to buying at a store where I could see and touch the item. Well it fit and the old trimmer came back to life. It looks identical to original carb. I would buy it again if needed.

25 Year old trimmer Started on the 2nd Pull
I did some research on YouTube and was advised to buy an OEM carburetor for my Echo GT-2000 trimmer, not a cheap aftermarket one. They said the OEM ZAMA C1U-K52 would not require any adjustments. They were right. Installation was simple. Now it runs like new!

Fast and easy to install
Remove the air filter and the throttle cable on the Echo weedeater, remove two phillips head screws and the old carburetor, remove the two fuel lines, install the two Phillips head screws into the new carburetor tighten snug, install the two fuel lines, the air filter and throttle cable. Adjust the Idle screw. Start. That’s how it went for me.

Zama C1U-K52 Carburetor OEM, Fit My Echo Trimmer SRM-2100
Zama C1U-K52 Carburetor was exactly as described by the seller! Zama all the way & OEM. I read several comments the Carburetor they received was a China knock-off. But I decided to place a order anyway; very happy I placed the order. Installed new Carb., my Echo SRM-2100 started the first pull. Trimmer idle's now, more power too. My trimmer is twenty yrs. old but now runs like new!
