ChiaoGoo Twist Short Combo, 2" & 3" (5 & 8 cm) [M], US 1 (2.25 mm)

These are absolutely perfect for socks! They go together perfectly without any ridges or gaps between the cord and needle join, the cords are perfectly pliable without being too floppy and the little ‘keys’ help make sure your cord is tight/or helps get them apart. I’m definitely going to grab some more in other sizes for slippers, mittens, and sleeves since they seem so much more convenient than DPN’s and i don’t like magic loop. My only tiny complaint is that i’ve got to stop myself from pushing the tip as i knit because they are a bit pointy/sharp and i don’t want to keep poking myself-lol! Love that this comes with the 2” & 3” and you can mix and match the lengths even for whatever you may need, and having the second needle ‘set’ is nice for turning a heel instead of having to spend more for another set or holder. Made my colorwork sock an absolute breeze and a pleasure instead of a pain.

These are no exception to all of the products I have loved from chiagoo!

So good! I love these so much. Chiaogoo is my go to needle and these are great for a small lace project I was working on. The metal cables cannot be beat compared to plastic. I bought a longer mini cable to start out an in the round project in magic loop, then when its large enough, you swap in one of the shorter cables and just knit it'll the round. I hate dpns, especially for lace, so these are worth the investment. I was even able to fit these into my Chiaogoo interchangeable case easily, so I have all my needles together. Will get more sizes as needed.

Best are the best needles! I love this brand and everything the offer NEVER dissapoints. Perfect for whipping up some sleeves. They are comfortable. And they are smooth.

These are good for making baby hats, and I'm sure adult socks, especially if you have trouble with laddering. I was pretty excited to find them. I had purchased flexible double pointed needles before these. I find the flexible dpn's more comfortable to use, but I was unable to prevent the laddering at the beginning of the projects. I wasn't able to prevent the work from stretching where the needles meet while working the remaining stitches in between. This may be a novice problem... A few rows into the project I was able to knit uniformly, but the laddering in those first few rows was unsightly and I could not gift something that looked like that. There is no laddering while using these. Having arthritis and carpal tunnel, I find these painful and fatiguing to use bc of how small they are. For me, using them requires breaks every couple of rows, but that is not the fault of the product. I still feel they will be very helpful and am thinking I will use them for those initial few rows and then knit onto flexible dpns or regular dpns to finish projects since those are easier on my hands. I think the price is too high, but these seem to be the only things available to me for knitting small circumference projects in the round, without ending up with laddering at the beginningof the project...

Expensive for a single set, but worth their price. They worked perfectly for the baby sweater sleeves I was working on. Came with a 2” and 3” length needles, a 5” and a 6” blue twist cables and 2 tightening pins. These cables are amazing since they are durable, but don’t have the curling memory like the plastic cables you usually get with interchangeable needle sets. I liked them so much I decided to order the whole set! A little awkward to get used to working with at first, as they are obviously shorter than normal needles, but definitely perfect for those small tight projects! P

I stumbled onto Chiaogoo about 4 years ago. I absolutely love everything about them. I was overjoyed when they came out with the Shorties. Trying to find 9” fixed circulars was nearly impossible in the sizes I wanted and needed. The shorties are awesome. I have the sizes I want. The tips are nice and pointed. The joins for cables and adapters are smooth. They are a little costly , but well worth the investment to me. In the long run I do not have multiple circular sets in different lengths everywhere. I saw review by one person telling how she likes to use a 2” needle on one end a 3” needle on the opposite end of the cable. I find myself doing the same. Chiaogoo does not currently sell the 2” needle separately, but they do sell the 3”. Right now I can only buy extra sets of needles (to make flexible double points) which leaves me with a lot of 5 and 6 inch cables. Now that they have come out with cables that swivel, I wish they could be included in the sets.

The Chiaogoo knitting needles are the best!

I am very happy woth product. Still need to learn how to work, but it was exactly what I expected. Needle size is perfect, cord a bit too short for small projects, but with longer it is just perfect.
