VERY impressed!
This is my second 'tool' like this. first was the BIG name brand ( with the big $$) cost. I gave it to one of my sons. This unit is very much simpler to set-up as well as to use. Once I opened the box I knew I would like it much more. and the price is almost 50% less than the 'name' brand. I made a platform to hold this jig in place on my work table and did a small job in the first 10 minutes of use. NO instructions needed! One of my better tools in my collection!

Decent Jig - Guide Bushings a Little Loose
I made a little holder for the jig with some 3/4 plywood and a couple pieces of 1/2" plywood on either side, shimming the jig with some large flat washers to get it even with the top.I drilled about 100 pocket holes with this after using some scrap and dialing in the exact depth I wanted. Since I use 3/4" plywood mostly I will rarely change this setting. My only issue with this jig is the guide bushings are thin and the bit wobbles more than my Kreg jigs. I even tried my Kreg bit in this but the guide bushings are just not great. I am hoping to find a better couple to upgrade this jig later. There was a little tearout consistently in the right side of the holes. My first guess is that this is due to the slop in the bushings but I would like to try it with a higher speed drill to see if that helps. I might just dedicate a corded drill to this purpose. The vacuum attachment is top-notch. I have never drilled pocket holes with a vacuum attached and now I do not want to ever be without it. Luckily I had some fittings that worked for the outlet without an additional purchase.I was choosing between this jig which I saw on YouTube with a different branding (I assume), the Armor Tool Jig, or a Kreg. Ultimately I chose this because it looked the most sturdy and simple in design with fewer breakable parts. It looked like something I could tweak if I needed.

Great product!!!
Great to build cabinets and many other wood furniture projects. I bought it to build my own cabinets from scratch and it works like a charm. I still use it to this day to build other projects. I would highly recommend.

Nice done
Perfectly finished my project, lower price and easier operation than kreg.

Very well made jig of high quality materials. Not made of plastic.
The only plastic on this jig are the knobs and dust collection port. Works as it should producing good quality pocket holes. Dust collection port is a nice feature missing on other bargain jigs. The only negative I have found is the setscrew for the bit stop collar is poorly made. I replaced it with a better one from the hardware store for less than a dollar.

Hefty and some good design engineering
This jig certainly looks and feels solid. You'll be able to drop it a few times and not worry. Additionally, it's designed well. With a lot of (hobbyist) experience using pocket screws (cabinets, frames, structures for holding up train tables) things I like about this set: 1) the solid feel, 2) the magnet for holding a C clamp in place, 3) the quick release positively indexed mechanism for setting the jig up for the thickness of the board you're drilling through, 4) the metric and standard markings on the jig in convenient places, and 5) the sliding end stop to allow for use at both end of board and an inside corner. Some design engineer(s) put some good thought into the design of this jig.I've taken one star off because of the step backwards with regard to the current state of these jigs on determining how deep to drive the drill bit. According to the instructions I need to determine board thickness (not difficult) and then set the stop collar on the bit so that the bit penetrates to a given distance from the end of the jig, based on that board thickness. As far as i can see there is nothing on the jig to help me remember what those stop settings would be. I either need to memorize them or return to the instructions. If there's a better way, using some feature on the jig, it's not stated in the instructions..In contrast there are vendors who market bits with markings on them to indicate where the stop collar should go for a given board thickness. That's much faster and more reliable. I guess you could buy that vendor's bits when the provided bit for this set wears out.So if you're always working with one board thickness then you'll be fine with this jig: the stop collar will never need to be moved. If that's not the case then you'll need to consider the aggravation that added complexity may cause you. Finally, the main blue competitor for this jig has always advertised hardened steel in the drilling guides in the jig. I've had and used some of my blue jigs for 15 years and the guides are still tight. Ruitool doesn't claim hardened steel in their guides and I don't have a way of determining whether they are hardened. I can confirm they definitely like magnets so at least they're not aluminum, and not likely stainless. Time will tell how good these guides are.i definitely will be using this jig, but generally in cases where I don't have to change the stop collar on the bit.
