I got it for my back pack and it holds my jacked and helmet in place

I don't know how I'll use it yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. Maybe stuffing a jacket in there, maybe one of my kids...I dunno. The options are endless.

It’s not 550 cord strength, but nice to secure things to pack.
