This is by far the best "snake" I've used in the past 20+ years. I think it's the 4th brand I tried. Excellent for 9mm/38. Does not hang up. It pulls easily so is great for cylinder holes, unlike many other brands. 1 swab generally gets it completely clean.

Nice bore snake. They first sent me a 40/45 which is the exact same color. The case acts as a handel to pull it thru. The weave is big and looks to be the same size as the .45 so I am guessing I'll need the handel to pull it thru the barrel. Really my biggest gripe is the lack of caliber identification. I'll guess I'll write what it is in sharpie before I mix it in with the rest of my cleaning supplies.

I’m a shooter for many many years. Always clean with the rotten rags and my barrel now I have the snake it’s the greatest invention for shooters in a long time. Everyone who shoots should have one.

The traditional bore snake, even for pistol calibers, has a long leading cord. This gets tedious for those of use who shoot pistols predominately. There is also the issue of storing the wrapped up snake with its plethora of brass spines sticking out.This bore snake deals with both. 1) The snake cord is long enough for any pistol, but not so long that effort and time are spent wrapping excess cord around your hand. 2) it includes a nice hard plastic case that protects everything else from being snagged and poked. 3) as a bonus, the same case is designed to act as a handle for the cord making the pull-through action much more pleasant.

This bore snake is awesome!!! I first purchased one for my Ruger PC carbine in 9mm and loved it. So of course I had to order more, I have one for my AR15, 22 rifle, AK47, 6.5 creedmoor and another in 9mm for my Keltec Sub2000. They all work great!!! After range time, I pass the snake through whichever rifle or I’m using. The fact that it comes in a little case (which is also the handle) is perfect for taking it to the range for a quick cleaning. This is a must buy and I highly recommend this product!!!!!

Have ordered several of these by Raiseek and all but this one has had an identification tag so you know what caliber to use it with. Very disappointed. Changed the rating because it does not affect the performance of the product.
