Kids Unisex 100% Cotton Casual Pull On Shorts for Boys and Girls 4-12 Years

My 4 year old (almost 5) wears these as pajamas to bed, then wears them the next day as clothes. He loves them. They are soft, medium-weight cotton (not too thin and not too thick). We like the colors - they go well with most of his clothes. He dresses himself each day and we don’t really worry about “matching.”

These shorts are very light weight and perfect for hot weather. My daughter is tall and skinny. She normally wears as size 10. The Large shorts fit her height but were loose around her waist. The drawstring on these shorts are decorative and not functional at all. However, it was very easy to take off the decorative drawstring and put on a real drawstring. The drawstring holes are open and the channel for the drawstring is unobstructed by any stitching. Once I put in a functional drawstring these shorts fit perfectly.

I bought these for my autistic child who prefers shorts over any thing else to wear. I'm struggling to find the thicker cotton shorts that he has been wearing for the last 2 years. My hope was that these were going to be thicker for warmth during the colder days. These shorts are quite thin, closer to t-shirt material/quality.

My daughter loves these shorts, light and cool.
