Product reduces heat and some engine noise. Utube video doesn't take off as many rear panels as written instructions which have unclear pictures of rear footwellHeat shield placement. Reinstalling plastic push pins will have you reviewing your adjectives. Also seat wouldn't latch without pushing down with great force. That will probably be ok after sitting on it for a bit. Product works, as stated by others,Honda should have designed the engine bay with the heat and noise issues. As you know they charge enough to have that included.

It is currently in the 90s, and we've ridden several times and there has been a significant improvement with this heat shield. Had trouble figuring out how to install the foot shields for the back. But, other than that very pleased. Can't speak to the durability yet. But in the past when we would hit a puddle heat would steam up thru the seats and smother you and immediately after the install we noticed that issue was eliminated. Very pleased.

It was not as easy to instal as it said. I will say it made a big difference in the cabin temperature. Not unhappy at all. It's sad that Honda doesn't address this problem with a solution, and as usual it took a private company to solve this situation.

I had researched this as anyone with a pioneer probably has. I figured it would help but didn’t expect it to solve the heat problem. We drove around today for about an hour on the roads. This usually would make it pretty miserable towards the end of the ride but the seat and cab heat got only slightly warmer than ambient temperature. I was super happy with results and would recommend to anyone. I would suggest watching a YouTube video on install as instructions lack a little but overall not that hard.

Not worth the money, I have a LE honda pioneer 1000-5 I installed this on hopeful this would help block the heat for the kids feet in the back as that's where most of the heat comes from on our machine... it did not help, not even a little bit. After reading the good reviews I was hopeful this would work but was very disappointed.

This is the best accessory I've added to my Pioneer 1000. After install, it is amazingly quiet and no more heat thru the seat. Highly recommended and honestly can't believe Honda doesn't install this during assembly.

Initially skeptical based on other reviews but being desperate for a solution to the heat coming through the seat and 100 degree weather I decided to try it out. To my surprise, the shield made a significant difference. I didn’t completely eliminate the heat, but enough to ride comfortably for hours at a time. May have to remove this winter. Because of my positive results, I bought a second shield for my wife’s rig. We are happy!

Fits good on my 1000-5 pioneer easy to install. But if you own a pioneer you need more then this to take away the heat from the engine
