What is the Difference between 20v atomic model and the same model but not atomic

The difference is in the physical size of the tool. The Atomic series is quite a bit more compact than their regular line of tools. If you’ve ever seen DeWalt’s 12v line of tools, the Atomic series is closer to THAT size, than the full sized 20v.

Such a great little tool. Ive been wanting a multi purpose tool for a long time as i do lots of home renovation projects. This tool has already paid for itself with the time, ease and less cursing i had to do! lol. Cuts, grinds and gets in small spaces . Love it!

Nice tool

Bought to assist me in my deck sanding project as some nooks and crannies were otherwise unreachable. My honest take is its a great tool, but the single trigger is a bit hard to get used to. This is more old school in that as you pull the trigger harder it ramps up to the next speed. Thats ok but impossible to regulate. If i had to do it again, i woukd buy the 3 spped option that holds the speed based on where the selector is set.not the fault of the tool just my personql preference.

Tool you didn't know you could have had this whole time

What a dangerously versatile tool this is. Do you need to read more?I'm messing with a lot of interior doors, door jambs, hardwood floor patching where door framing used to be, and shaping of hollow doors to fit weird old house framing. This oscillating tool has been there for all of it and I'm not sure I COULD have done it without this tool. Maybe that was my moment to back off and think more about whether I SHOULD but here the Dewalt tools were, whispering "Do it!".

It’s easy too change the blades, $30 less than any where else

I bought this Dewalt Oscillating tool because I needed one that was easy to change the blade. My old Mikita became too bulky and heavy to use . I was able to install a couple of blades easily in a couple of minutes. This was a good price over buying it at the two brick and mortar hardware stores here in our town
