Okay if you are lightly clamping but not good for something that needs more purchase.

These were recommended by Amazon when purchasing another item, they were too small and not real jubilee clips - returned and refunded say day as delivery

Actually, I've built a pencil extender out of them instead! I couldn't find one large enough for my Faber-Castell 9000 Jumbo pencils. Now I have the perfect implement. Just needed a bit of lateral thinking, that's all. 😉Otherwise these hose clips will work very well (I tried one - no water leaks!), so these are well worth the (low) price.Philips cross-head screws, nice positive action.Very pleased! 💖

Excellent quality and just what I wanted, although I could have done with a smaller number of items to the pack.

The first clip out of the packet would not tighten or loosen so I had to throw it away. The second one was very stiff and took a lot of work to shift. The third one worked as it should.
