These are beautiful citronella candles meant to use on our porch. The scent is great and work well to keep bugs at bay. But the wicks are too thin and short, and they quickly get deluged by wax and soon you cannot burn the candle and are left with at least half the wax in the container. I remedied this by transferring the wax to a more durable bucket-type citronella candle with a sturdy wick so the wax won't go to waste.

These work much better than I originally anticipated, seeing as I'm used to candles that are much much more wax than actual citronella, which defeats the purpose of the purchase. These burn for a decent amount of time, but I only need these for so long, as I don't spend too much time outside, maybe 1hr intervals at most a few times a week. I would probably pack these away for camping trips or just keep one in my travel duffel just in case. Works best on non-breezy days. Also be aware that this has a scent, but nothing too powerful, but it needs to smell that way as it's what deters mosquitoes.

I bought these for my outdoor patio, and I love the decorative container. The reason for the 2 star review is only because it is so shallow that there is no protection from the wind and the candles blow out very easily unless there is no wind at all. This made them difficult to use.

We ordered these for our new patio. We were exclusively looking for tin (vs glass) so they would not be in danger of breaking on the brick patio. We have had name brand citronella candles which did not have a lid and either the insides get gross leaving them out or we forget to bring them back outside if we bring them in. We like the three wick design as the wax burns more evenly without leaving high edges. The lid solves this problem and they are so cute to leave out We've only used a few times but they smell nice and seemed to keep the bugs at bay.

While the containers are pretty the candles are super small, I bought pails of citronella candles for less than $6 each that have more candle than all 3 of these put together, if you want decorative these are it, if you want longer burning time find bigger candles!

Great bug candles in very fun print tins. We use them in our screened in porch-perfect for social distanced small family gatherings. Offers some warmth, seem to keep bugs at bay. Also, the lids are great, then I don't have to move them out of the rain.

I thought I was getting good value for my money. Although I love the strong scent of citronella, the wicks burn out so fast I end up with a lot of wasted candle.

I really wanted this color scheme but otherwise they seem expensive. So far so good - a month outside and not UV effected. The cover holds up in the rain and keeps it dry.
