I used to wear sandals like these back in the 70's, but they were taken off the market because of some problem that I don't remember. I looked for years, but they were never available, so I gave up. By accident, I discovered them on Amazon recently and immediately ordered a pair. They are as great as I remember. My feet don't sweat or stick to the natural fiber insole as they do with 'rubber' insoles. With rubber-soled flip-flops, I always wear tabi socks because of how uncomfortable my feet feel on the rubber.I wear a shoe size 38 EU size (size 7.5 US) and ordered a 38 in these sandals. They fit exactly right. My toes and heels come close to the edge binding and don't go over. I wear a narrow in sandals and a medium in lace-up shoes. The width of these is perfect for me.

The sole is the perfect thickness. It feels sturdy when you walk compared to some really thin sole flip flops. Super comfortable, the material is very soft. I prefer grass foot beds so my feet don't sweat. My last two pairs lasted almost a year. Please note; I wear flip flops almost everyday. The toe strap will get loose the longer you wear them, then it's time to buy another couple pairs. You can buy cheaper flip flops but the quality won't be as good.

I bought these in the 40 M EU size ( I wear a US women's 9.5/ Men's 7.5) and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I wear them only indoors however they are already starting to break down and I've only had them a month. The part where the thong attaches to the shoes is pulling up and the sides are starting to come off. That is pretty upsetting considering how infrequently I wear them and that they are only worn in my house as slippers.

I wanted a pair of bamboo slippers to wear around the house, because bamboo doesn't make my feet hot. These are great--the texture feels really nice on my feet, and they don't make my feet sweat (I live in a hot, humid climate). They are a little loose, but I'm not surprised. I have long, skinny feet, so most slippers that are long enough are too wide for me. Still, hard to believe these wouldn't be too wide on most women. But I don't care because I can mill around on a lazy Sunday without taking off my slippers every 10 minutes, now. I'm a happy camper.

I'd been looking for straw/bamboo flip flops for YEARS after my last pair fell apart. I wasn't sure about spending a bit more on a pair of flip flops, but I'm really happy I did, because I LOVE these. They're ridiculously comfortable and sturdy, and seem like they'd last a long time as lightweight house slippers (as opposed to the dollar store type of sandals that fall apart after a week of light use). So I think it's worth paying a little extra for a solidly-built product.The strap looks kind of bulky in the photos, but it's a lot thinner in person.

I got these to wear in the house. An Ayurvedic physician suggested I use footwear that has a non-synthetic footbed. Found these as a solution to the EVA flip flops I'd been wearing around the house. Have had them for a couple months and have held up well thus far. Happy with the purchase.

Nice, cool sandals for indoor use. They are comfy for the most part, but the straps do cut into my feet a little, as they are a bit snug. They are very flat, so not meant for walking much in them.

These are cute. I like things with an Asian flare and these fit the bill. They have zero support and would not be comfortable if you planned to walk a lot or be on your feet. For the average day they are just fine.
