Dangerous
It kept shorting bulbs, then exploded a bulb and sent glass shards across the tank, covering my turtle is all the tiny shards. I ended up having to take her to the vet as it caused a lot of damage to her eye and almost blinded her. It took weeks and weeks to heal. Very dangerous cheap crap. Other people I've spoken to since the incident on forums, have mentioned similar issues with exploding bulbs and also overheating of the item causing smoke as the items are cheaply made and cannot take the heat that they're claimed to be made for. Absolutely do not buy these.

Not made to last. Potential fire hazard.
Within 3 months this product was unusable as the bulb that came with it burned through the lamp so another bulb could not be fitted in and had to buy a whole new lamp.
