Nice, but some issues
These gloves look good and feel nice. They developed a hole within 2 weeks of purchase. Its in the web of one of the fingers at the base. I could have returned them because, where to hole developed, I feel it was from construction and not getting caught on something but I did not and used them all season. The hole did not expand further. They have a nice grip which is good for driving so the wheel does not slip on those cold mornings. Not that the glove claimed to be able to do this but I will point out that I can not operate my smartphone (iphone 5) screen with the gloves on. I just wanted to point that out because some people seeing the nubs on the glove might think it is possible. These are nice gloves. Not the warmest I have owned and not waterproof, but again, I don't think they were designed for extreme cold or snowball fights. A good everyday glove for winter. If the hole had not developed I would have give 5 stars.

good quality!
Could not find any gloves in our 3 local farm stores that would keep my hands warm in our frigid cold Iowa winters. When I would have to take my mittens off to open up livestock gates, my finger would get sooo cold. I wear these under mittens and it has helped tremendously. Their not designed for below zero weather but mitten liners - the BEST I have ever purchased.. Bought their socks also- This company makes outstanding quality products that last.

Nice medium weight gloves
This is my second pair of these, the first pair is 7 or 8 years old now and starting to get holes in them. I am hard on them since I use them for manipulating tools and such in cold weather so they sometimes get caught on edges and what not. They aren't the very warmest gloves I've ever owned but I need a good compromise between warmth and dexterity and these fit the bill.I'll use this pair hard for several years, wear them out and if they're still made buy another.

Does the job, but quality control could be better
I got these gloves and decided to wait for cold to test them out. A week later the cold came in the range of 36 degrees with a wind chill in the 20's. I put them on top of a "Fox River Men's Polypropylene Glove Liner" and went outside and the first thing I noticed was my right hand was cold. I looked down and found a hole right between my peter pointer and middle finger. It was a little smaller than the head of an eraser. It was easy to see cause the glove liner beneath it was blue. I decided to soldier on and stick that hand in my pocket and test the left one. Paired with the above mentioned glove liner, with a pretty strong wind, this was a really warm combination. I was pretty happy with the performance. If you wanna keep your hands warm, I would mention that probably should put these on inside first and not take them off. I took the left one off outside and put it back on and my hand never got back to the original warmth it was earlier.Since I'm not a ring wearer, the only way this glove could have got a hole was from the factory. Even with this issue, I'd still buy another pair. Just wish they'd have checked em before leaving the factory.I returned these but outside of the hole issue, these are really warm gloves.

The best liner gloves
I have tried alot of expensive liner gloves including Ibex, Icebreaker, Marmot, Mountain Hardware, REI, and Outdoor Research. I'm in Alaska and wear gloves from October to April. These wool liners go under every glove I wear for every activity. For getting firewood, I put these under a leather workglove. For snowmachining, I wear these under my handmade beaver mittens. For skiiing, I wear these under a pair of OR gloves or mittens. As a pilot, I love flying with these gloves because they are thin but still warm. Even if I wear bulky gloves, I can take them off and have dexterity without getting frostbit. I put conductive thread in the fingers so I can use my phone to take a picture or send a text. I buy a pair of these gloves every winter or so. They last longer as a liner than as a glove alone, which is to be expected. I am very happy with the product for the price, quality, and durability.

Decent Glove.
Kept my hands warm when wet.Extra palm grip worked well. The wool can get itchy. Can be a pain to wash - if you use hot water or a dryer, it starts affecting the comfort, fit and function of the palm grip material.Did well holding up during backpacking trips and for general winter wear. The grip parts do not transfer heat, so cannot use them with screen devices without removing the glove.

Great for bike commuters.
I got these to ride my morning commute in 40 f weather. They donโt have any fancy e tips but they keep my fingers from going numb on my way to work. For spring Iโm cutting the fingers off and using em year round. Rinse and repeat next fall.
