Now Designs Stoneware Rectangle Butter Dish with Lid, Red 4.5 x 8 in

This dish is made of nice and thick ceramic, so it is good and sturdy. In fact, I dropped the lid on the wood floor after its initial wash and prepared myself for extreme disappointment that I would never even get to use my dish before breaking it! But the lid sustained the fall with absolutely NO damage whatsoever-not even a chip out of the glaze. It has a nice weight without being too heavy. I am thoroughly impressed that this item survived the fall! I'm not suggesting throwing around your butter dish by any means, but feel confident that it can stand up to normal wear and tear of household use.I also love the soft teal glaze of this dish. It looks very high end and matches my teal owl spoon rest perfectly. I have only hand-washed this item, but I would suspect it would do fine in a dishwasher. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend!!!I base many of my purchases on Amazon after reading other buyer's reviews and I always try to take the time to leave thoughtful, honest reviews about the products I receive on Amazon. We needed a new butter dish and this one matches our color scheme and it's super cute. Good size and the little handle is really handy

It is a plain but effective design; however, it is breakable especially on granite countertops and can sometimes be slippery due to the butter being on the top "knob".

One tiny color imperfection on the edge of the lid which might be an issue if I'd paid 30 dollars for it, but it's a great price, really sleek and simple and pretty, and the butter stays very neat because the bottom is almost flat, so it's easy to cleanly slice butter with a knife instead of digging down into some type of butter container, which always seems to end up a big mess.I'm happy with it. Can 100% recommend.

Nice, simple butter dish. It holds a stick of butter just fine. It fits in with other patterns just fine. It covers the butter just fine. It’s a good weight, and dishwasher safe. I’m laughing because the reviews are so funny. People complaining about the most ridiculous things. People! It’s a BUTTER DISH for crying out loud! It does the job and for less than $6 and looks nice on the table and in the fridge. It arrived in perfect condition, packaged in its own box. No complaints, measuring tapes needed or silly observations here.

I use this butter dish in my RV. The weight is perfect to leave on the counter and the butter stays soft and fresh..and nothing can 'get into it'. Love the colour too!!

So happy we decided to choose this butter dish. The colour is perfect, and it seems to be great quality. It is a heavier dish and doesn't fit a full pound of butter, but it does what we need it to do. The knob on the top is quite small, so be careful! The price was also a bonus in comparison to other similar styles of butter dish.
