Update 11/29/2021: I wore this watch 24/7 for 2.5 years, until one of the plastic parts that the wrist band loops through broke. Except for that broken bit, the only issue I've had with the watch is the band, which I replaced when it wore out (both Amazon and Walmart carry replacement bands). I have been so please with the watch that I just replaced it with another of the same model from Amazon. Two thumbs up!I am an average size man with average size wrists, and this watch was made for me. The band would likely be too small for a large wrist, but it fits me perfectly. The time, day and date (the only functions I really care about) are large and easy to read. The watch face has no wasted space, and it looks great on my wrist. If I had the talent to design a watch, it would look like this. I am very pleased with this watch.

Doing the PAST test for Air Force. Needed something to track times on laps in and out of water. Just got the watch today. It came a day early and well packaged. Opened the box and straped it on. Looks bad ass, face is huge so will have no trouble seeing/recording times as I am running or in the pool. Does everything I need for a great price. Velcro strap feels good. Most of the EL only lights the time,date, etc., not the whole watchface so using it in the dark is easy. Opperation strait forward. Weight is not bad, its light for how large it looks. Over all, this is a ManTastic watch at a great value. As in other reviews, FACE IS HUGE! If you dont like large face watches you will hate it. Will leave more info on how it works when I take it in the drink for a swim.

Pros:- Simple, uncluttered design with large time of day readout while still providing the day of the week (Mo-Su) and the day of month (01, 02...).- The velcro wrist band strap is flexible, comfortable and fits nicely with no excess length as someone else mentioned. My wrists are pretty narrow but this fits perfectly.- Relatively intuitive setup. I didn't bother reading the instructions but after playing with it for a while I was able to set the time and date without much difficulty.Cons:- Huge. I am 5' 7" and the watch face on this thing is huge! It is borderline comical. I am going to wear it and see what kind of reactions I get.Misc: I bought this watch to use on vacations. Something easy to read and that I can wear while in the swimming pool or the beach, and inexpensive in case I lose it or break it. My vacation is coming up pretty soon, so I'll be able to see how well it holds up then.

Outstanding design! Large, informative display comes in real handy for those of us whose eye-sight isn't what it used to be. Very clever, good looking, comfortable Velcro band is infinitely adjustable for a perfect fit every time -- not too tight, not too loose. You cannot do that with any other type of band that I am aware of. My wrist doesn't always stay the same size. It swells and shrinks due to various influences. This becomes very evident when I put on a watch with an unforgiving link band that fit fine yesterday, but today the watch wants to crawl up and down my arm and do loops on my wrist! What's the deal with this?!? Well, that usually occurs early in the morning, but after 15-20 minutes, the watch is usually staying in place. I figure it is a combination of sweat, increased blood flow (heart rate), and things of that nature that make it seem at times as though a onery gremlin (is there any other kind?) snuck into my bedroom while I slept and inserted a link just to annoy me. All this to make the point that the Velcro band is a real pleasure because it doesn't have X amount of links or holes, so it always fits perfectly regardless of my tempermental wrist. And because it is black, I believe this helps the band hide its true identity as one that uses Velcro. Terrific looking, non-rotating, acrylic bezel. The acrylic neither sounds nor looks like cheap plastic, making it a superb material choice by Armitron! Water-resistent to an impressive 10 atmospheres (330 feet). Feature-laden, including alarm, lap, chronograph, stopwatch, countdown, option for dual time zones as well as military time, and innovative EL technology that allows for easy viewing day or night. Great auto-off night light that illuminates only the digits rather than the entire face. First class fit and finish. Keeps great time. An incredible bargain for under $30 in most cases. More than just a home run --- this is a grand slam!!

Inexpensive and it works like a charm. I'm rough on watches and have a hard time finding one the holds up. This one is still working, all the buttons work, the lens isn't broken and the band isn't falling apart. Most important, the lighted numbers still work. For the price I doubt you'll find a more durable watch for the price.

The first thing you notice about this watch is Holy Crap! My sleeve will never fit over that. And it doesn't.Overall the watch is good. It has all the good bits including a Timer and it's nice and easy to read on thatenormous face. The back light is good in the pitch black.Did I mention it's huge? If you are a gym instructor or hardcore gymjunkie, exercise freak that wearsthe latest running shorts and sneakers everywhere then this watch will fit in.If however you're a normal person with just an average size wrist, forget it!Tooooo big.I don't wear it in public, because it's embarrassing but when you're just pottering around at home or whatnotit's fine.
