Pens are cheap. One of them didn't work at all. We ordered them to do wedding invitations and ended up just printing with a nice font with our inkjet printer. I suppose we could have returned them & gotten money back but it wasn't worth the problem.

One of the pieces was broken when it arrived and ink does not flow easily

As it states, beginners kit, the pens work great but the instructions aren't very detailed. Just search the web for different fonts and instructions.
