Sterling Silver Diamond-Cut Rope Chain 1.1mm 1.5mm 1.7mm 2mm 2.5mm Solid 925 Italy New Necklace

I bought this in late April and began wearing it daily in May or June. I just took it off to clean it and realized that it isn't dirty, but the finish has worn off!! The product listing states, "PURE 925 STERLING SILVER — Crafted to stand the test of time. Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver, mixed with alloys to add strength and durability." IF this really was silver, it wouldn't have worn off. If you want this chain to wear occasionally, I'm sure it would be fine. But don't expect it to last if you want to wear it every day.

UPDATE: I purchased this chain at the end of February &, now, 2 months later the chain is tarnished & gray. My SO wears a chain everyday with his cross & I've never seen any other chains look like this, especially so quickly. I purchased this chain to replace one that was lost. We loved the chain at first but now he had to take it off because it looked so bad. I wouldn't recommend this chain unless it VERY temporary.Former Review:Very nice chain! I gave it as a gift & he was very pleased with it. It's shiny but not overly shiny. It seems pretty sturdy but that is still TBD. If I remember, I'll update my review later down the road.

Omg ... this has to be the cheapest thing I’ve ever seen in my life ... this literally looks like it came out of a gum ball machine.... it is bright it looks almost white ... it’s not silver and there no mark of 925 anywhere ... worst off if you look closely the picture does not match what they show on line with the clasp. Pictures below of real silver vs this trash.

Very beautiful chain. The clasp is very small so it was easy to put my charm with a very small loop on this chain.

This chain is gorgeous! My sons bought me a beautiful sterling silver charm for Mother’s Day, but I needed a chain to put it on. The charm they bought me was from Kay. When I went to Kay’s website to price one, they were double the price I paid for this. Seriously, this thing sparkles like a diamond. I’m glad I went with the 2.2mm size because it is thick enough to be seen, but not too thick. I have worn it 24/7 since I received it and it still looks amazing. The seller is beyond trustworthy. They accidentally sent me an 18” length when I ordered a 22”. When I contacted them and asked about an exchange, they apologized, sent the correct size rush delivery and told me to keep the wrong size with their compliments. I took the unused size today to a local organization that assists low income or abused women. They said they do little “pick me up gifts” for the women they serve and some lady will love this. What a WIN WIN, I got a gorgeous necklace and was able to make another woman happy when she wears hers. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, beautiful chain. Purchase with confidence, you won’t be disappointed!

Way better than i expected i wear it everyday!!!!

This is an amazing value. I wear it every day and it hasn't changed since I got it. I wear my father's urn charm and "dance like no one is watching" charm from my mother. They are precious to me and I trust this piece to keep them safe around my neck.

A bought this necklace few months ago actually. It definitely needs a cleaning but the luster on it is still impressive, even after me wearing it on a near basis and sleeping with it on.

Pésima calidad. Compre tres cadenas en los últimos meses y la que compre en hace 4 meses ya está manchada y negra. La intenté limpiar con varios productos y no sé limpia. Las otras dos están bien pero está no parece de plata. Quiero reembolso.
