BOUSNIC Dog Nail Grinder 2-Speed - Upgraded Rechargeable Pet Nail Trimmer Gentle Painless Paws Trimming & Smoothing for Small Medium Large dogs

I have two 90-lb mastiff mix rescues, who have huge nails that I don't trim/grind often enough. This is partially because it has always been so difficult, despite training, patience and treats. The nail grinders I've used in the past were very noisy, vibrated too much, cost too much, needed replacement sanding discs/pads after every use, and didn't have enough power to continue spinning with enough force to grind down my dogs' huge nails after doing one or two feet. I have used "PediPaws;" an actual rechargeable Dremmel tool fitted with a sanding wheel; and a predecessor to the PediPaws from a decade ago.This nail grinder was far superior in every way -- here's why:1. It's Quiet -- Honestly, the grinder makes a quiet humming/whirring sound, that my dogs basically ignored. My bigger dog is really sensitive to sounds, and he would always flinch and get anxious when I turned on the other grinders. This is so quiet, I'm thinking about using it on my small parrots claws.2. No Vibrations & Very Little Heat -- The other nail grinders I've used in the past, have all vibrated A LOT! So much so, that my sensitive dog would flinch every time the grinder touched his nails, even though they weren't causing him pain. Also, the sanding wheels tended to "catch" on their nails a bit, which jarred them even further. The fact that the sanding wheels had to be constantly replaced, and generated so much heat was annoying as well. The grinding wheel on this device doesn't need to be replaced, and has a solid spin that smoothly shaves off layers of nail without catching. I tend to use grinders with a pass and release/reset type of technique to avoid generating too much heat from friction, anyway; however, the dogs never seemed uncomfortable, and I never smelled that terrible "burning-nail" smell.3. Easy to Use -- Since I've used similar devices in the past, I had a general understanding of technique, but I understand the seller's website offers some "how to videos" as well. I know that YouTube is filled with videos as well, and I have Googled images with diagrams of best practices. The lack of vibration means that I am able to hold this grinder for a long period of time without experiencing any pain or discomfort in my hands or wrists. This is important because I have carpal tunnel syndrome, which can be extremely aggravating while doing this, and would mean that I would be unlikely to finish without resting.The shaft of the grinder is also easy to hold onto. The shape is ovalish or like a rounded-cornered rectangle, and it is very lightweight. The plastic housing is high-quality, as is the grinding wheel, and the color and style are also pleasing as well.It charged very quickly, and easily ground through 36 huge and overgrown mastiff nails without slowing down a bit. I used it without the guard, as my dogs' nails are far too large to fit in the groove; however if your dog's nails are small enough, and this is your first time using a grinder, I would highly recommend using the guard. Additionally, another little tip -- if your dog's nails are very overgrown (like mine were), I recommend using a traditional dog nail clipper with a guard to trim off the ends of the nail, leaving a 1/4" or so of nail before getting to the quick -- easier on light colored nails, than dark nails -- but this will trim off the excess, and basically let you just sand down and shape the ends of the nails so they don't touch the floor.What are you waiting for?

This product worked well to file my dog's nails so that they are rounded rather than sharp like it was when they were cut. It was fairly quiet and once I got started, my dog relaxed and was calm. He was a little anxious when I first turned the nail grinder on, but within less than a minute he was calm. It did not cause him any discomfort. This is going to save me a lot of money since I will not have to take him to the pet groomer to have his nails cut. His nails are dark and one cannot see the nerve in them. This will be a safe alternative to cutting his nails. It does require a USB port to charge it.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm a full time dog groomer , and I really like this thing. Its super quiet . My dogs don't even notice me turning it on. Most of my problem dogs with nails do better with this Grinder. The only reason I put 4 stars is because it's not as powerful as I'd hoped. I have to trim all the nails first if there's some extra length before I can grind them because it takes a while to grind em down . Other wise great product.

My dog is very averse to getting his nails clipped--he will let you brush his fur, brush his teeth, wash him in the tub, etc. But once those clippers come out, he freaks out and cries and becomes a madman. This electric grinder has definitely made that process much better, even if he is still extremely dramatic about the process. The noise isn't too loud, it works fairly quickly, and it's easy to place his nails on the grinder. The only thing I would say (which is true of all grinders), is that it releases a lot of dust, so you may want to wear a mask to avoid inhaling everything in your animal's nails (which shouldn't be too difficult at the moment, considering the availability of masks everywhere).Would definitely recommend, easy to set up and use, and it was very easy to set up lifetime warranty.

This is my first experience using a nail grinder on my dogs and I'm definitely glad I tried this product! It's quiet, easy to use, and makes getting their nails done more tolerable for my dogs. They have mostly black nails, so I'm always nervous to cut them too short and cause pain/make them bleed. With the grinder, I don't have that fear any more. I love that it's rechargeable too. My youngest dogs nails are very overgrown because it's so challenging to hold him to cut them. He still doesn't love to have his feet touched, but will stand independently (vs being held tightly by another person) and let me use the grinder on 1 or 2 feet before he gets impatient. We have made it part of our daily routine, to do 1-2 feet on each dog every night with their dinner. It's helping us slowly work their nails back to an appropriate length with less effort and stress for all of us! So glad I gave this product a try!

This is quieter than I expected. I turned it on every day for a few minutes, just to acclimate our dogs. One has trauma from a groomer in training who left him with razor burn all over his body. He still hasn't adjusted to this nail grinder, and he may never (and that's okay). But our other dog doesn't mind it at all. She sits still for me and I'm finally able to do her nails at home. Our dogs are very tiny (5 lbs. and 3.5 lbs.) and this works really well for their little nails. I even tried it on one of my my nails so that I would know what they would experience, and it was fine. It's not made for human nails, so it left it a bit rough, but I was very pleased at how gentle it was. The vibration isn't too bad.

PetSmart groomer and hated the one they had for us to use it was also a pain when more than one person needed it at a time wanted my own anyways and SO GLAD I purchased this one. So much quieter than others I’ve used, lightweight holds a charge you can push down without it shutting off it does get long hair caught occasionally but nothing like last grinders I’ve used. It’s held up well, Great product highly recommend!!

Cette appareil est parfait pour les griffes des petits chien . Par contre pour mon Basset qui a des griffes énormes çà ne fonctionne pas . En fait ça fonctionne mais c’est 15 min par griffe alors c’est impossible pour nous
