Installed on rear of a 40' Fifth wheel , picture came up without going through a paring process , looks really clear so far, I used the short mount assembly which does not allow enough room for the antenna to fit up correctly but didn't want to use the longer mount due to possible vibration when driving. I mounted on a small 1x4 to allow the antenna to fit up right.The signal came up right away with my truck not even hooked up to the rv and actually in my garage a ways away.I'll see how it performs in driving conditions and update then ,will update my review after getting on the road and see how it performs in driving conditions.Customer service reached out to me to offer the suction cup mount for the monitor and sent it to me for free, will try this unit on the road today and see how it does , will update after,Update after first use on road, screen was mostly clear with intermittent blank spots, then went completely blank and would not come back up, Sending it back to Amazon

I have not tried it on the freeway yet but I have insalled and tested. It has good resolution and is easy to install. I hooked up the camera rear upper center just above the center running light, I got my power from there, that way I can use the camera as a rear view mirror and backup by turning on the trucks running lights. If you only want backup and no rear view mirror just get power for the camera from the backup light. Also there is plenty of wire for long runs, say, from backup light to the top. The only hick up was the sun visor, when I snapped it into place it broke on the thinnest part, so be careful with that. The good news is the customer service is fantastic. I emailed to the enclosed address and very quickly got a response, not only will they send me a new viser but included a suction cup holder for my windshield, now that is how you do it, I would deal with this company again in a heartbeat. You won't regret the purchase.

The first one I got from Amazon was DOA and was immediately replaced by Amazon.(No wonder they “rule the world!) The second one came and I installed it easily, and it works extremely well. Seems to be the same camera and monitor as more expensive sets. Also comes with a huge variety of extra parts, wires and fasteners to customize your installation. I installed the camera in the back window of my 30’ long 5th wheel (inside the RV) and the monitor on the window of my extended box, crew cab truck, easily 45 feet in the front. I still get a strong, Bluetooth signal and no freezing screens or connectivity issues! This is a “must” if you want a safe RV experience! Even though O emailed the vendor when the first camera wouldn’t work and didn’t get a response, I give this 5 stars. Just be sure to buy from Amazon!

Do you own truck or RV camper or even a van?? look no further for the most easy insulation backup camera, I ordered Friday I have it Sunday morning, the box full of all things that you need very simple process just like baring your phone with a headphone Bluetooth, connect the monitor to the cigarette lighter, connect the camera to any wire that's have Electric, I connect it to the license plate light very easy, hit the red button to pair it and you all set, that's it no wire to to hide in the carpet, no wire to run from the front to the back, with a 7 inch monitor it come with so many attachment that it can be used anywhere that's suitable for you, it's come from the factory already paired so you don't need to pair it again, but for some reason if you need to pair it it's a very easy just hit the red button and that's it, you're all set it give you a big View of the back over the car and you can switch it left or right it's really have some unique future you control it from the monitor, the monitor is not a touch screen but have buttons that you can adjust color and angle which is great and even had a little metal shed That's goes over the monitor in the case you driving in the Sun, after all I'm happy with the purchase and I'm glad I tried this one, thanks for the company that's finally make something like that easy for normal people like me that's don't have experience about wiring😉

I purchased this for my Eagle fifth wheel. Have not completed then install yet but have tested the display and camera.This display is great and the guide lines work well. The only problem (actually two) is there was no grommet for the wire hole and no suction cup. You can dash mount it but I didn't want to put sticky or drill hole in a new F250. Not a big deal the company said they would send a suction mount. Main reason for 4 stars was no grommet on the wire install. The actual unit came well packed and has worked as advertised. Really pleased with the unit. One nice feature is the signal strength indicator on the screen. Lets you know how many bars from camera to screen. game in handy on the install. Also the camera has a wide field of view. Real nice. I updated review to 5 star. The company is adding a grommet to there product and have sent me the suction mount. Great customer service and great product. Very pleased.

Having no rear window I mounted the monitor high in the center of the windshield, right where the mirror would normally be. I used the large, self adhesive mount directly on the glass. I was able to route the power line indie the window trim and hard wire it inside the dash (the power line is quite long). When mounting anything using double-sided foam it is best to wait overnight before putting a load on it. The camera was easy to mount, I tapped into the power of the top center running light and mounted the camera just below. I use this setup as a full-time rear view camera, so any time the lights are on, the camera has power. I always drive with my lights on, so this system operates passively, I don't have to turn anything on or off manually. The view gives a fairly wide angle. Before having this setup I was unable to see a car close behind me at all. The camera is housed in a sturdy metal case, and even it's hood is metal. The video frame rate is OK, the resolution is fairly low, but they never claimed it was HD. Overall I am happy with this product.
