Cedar/Fir Adirondack Chair - 35 3/4in.L x 30 1/2in.W x 35 1/2in.H, Model# CS-001KD

I ordered two chairs, which arrived very quickly. My husband was going to stain them, but due to the amount of knots in the wood, he decided to paint them white. He put Zinsser bin primer on the knots and then used 1-2-3 primer for the rest, allowed the primer to dry, sanded, and then put a coat of paint on the chairs before putting them together. He is also going to be putting on another coat of paint soon for added protection. He said that he had no problem getting the chairs together, and all the parts went in smoothly. I was worried about some of the reviews, but the chairs are look fantastic, MUCH better than I had expected. They do not look cheap and are very comfortable to sit in. The arms are wide enough to hold a beverage easily, and the seats are wide (30 1/2 inches) and tall (35 3/4). My husband is over 6 feet tall and he thought that they were very comfortable. Overall, these are great chairs. They are lightweight and easy to move around, which I actually prefer. I'm not sure how many years they will last, but I am assuming several years if we take care of them, and for the price they look great. I have added a photo of the chairs painted white. Oh, and they are definitely made from cedar.I had to downgrade this from 5 stars to 3 because they are slowly starting to fall apart after one year. We are now missing one arm to a chair that needs to be redrilled and instaled, and another piece of the chair (from the back end) fell off. I guess you get what you pay for........

Very upset with this purchase. These chairs are not good at all. They are flimsy and not safe to sit in. I got 2 chairs over a year ago. Both are broke now. Not to even mention I had to go threw a huge hassle due to one lost one chair in the shipping process. (It was so not amazons fault, they where a great help) but UPS gave me the run around. And I could not contact the main supplier of these chairs. I sent them a email and they wouldn't write back or answer my calls. DO NOT buy these chairs unless you want them as a yard decoration because you cant sit in them, they will break on you!

We purchased 4 of these to keep around our outdoor fire pit. Honestly for the amount of time it took to stain them, screw them together & the lack of sturdiness, this product was not worth the purchase. They would not sustain heavy weights, excessive wiggling or kiddie activity without falling apart. We have used them gingerly to get a season out of them. However, our next purchase will be a more durable & costly chair for sustainability.

I think these chairs are great for the money. They are made or a cedar-fir combo wood. They are light enough to move around without getting a backache. I like the fact that they are perfectly made for comfort. My hubby and I are not on the light side and these chairs are just fine for us. If you have teenagers you might want to invest in stronger chairs. Again for the price they are well worth it. I see enjoying them for years to come.

After reading reviews i was a little worried about placing my order however i ordered 2 chairs they arrived in good condition no missing parts the first chair took me awhile to put together couldnt figure out how to attach the legs but this was user error- second chair was very quick to assemble i sat in them and they were sturdy although they are not as heavy as the more expensive chairs i am pleased with them for the price i paid i would recommend this chair to others

Nice chairs. Not great but very nice for the money. Hubby and I spent an afternoon assembling and then using the paint sprayer with a nice stain to evenly coat the chairs and tables we bought. From here, only time will tell how they really hold up. As of now, we've have complements from neighbors who have come to hangout around out firepit.Also, I do recommend a seat cushion for prolong lounging.

Chairs are little lighter weight than wanted yet can't beat for the price. Although one of my two chairs came with a broken back. I will update since I just contacted the seller. I will see how well their customer service is and change rating if deserved.

Purchased for my sister-in-law to replace cheap-ass ones on her front porch in Florida. Was a bit worried that she would have to put them together but she got in touch with her inner butch and did a fine job and even sent me a pic of the final results. Haven't received any follow-up that they fell apart so I can only assume she's sitting on her font porch now sipping a tea and enjoying the warm Florida sun.
