The birthday club IS a total hot rock star delight, but the feels from seeing Letty realize her place in the world and with The Rock, THAT is what I connected with and that is what brought the story to a 10 star (if I could give it that).Buy the book. Having loved every book in this series since the start, I was stoked that Kendall Grey was writing yet another one. And I have to tell you, this one rocked HARD!!This truly is Letty Dillinger's story. It's almost a year since her wild ride with both Shades and Killer Buzz Float started and even though our lead singer might be feeling in a bit of a rut, before she can utter the words, "Long Live the Rock", her world is turned upside down. And Letty, in all her unapologetic glory, puts up one helluva a good fight!As we watch as the band start to get some much deserved recognition, it's the relationship between Letty and her man Shades that is at the crux of this story. What struck me the most while reading this book was how much I have come to adore Shades. He's a man who is loyal to a fault and his adoration and true affection for his girl made me swoon. Through a possible paternity, some unflattering social media and a girlfriend who speaks her mind without apology, Shades remained steadfast and true. The way he soothes Letty when no one else can. His passion for pleasing her musically and sexually and his love for her that is apparent no matter what she throws at him might just make him THE best book boyfriend ever. You'd have to have the patience of a saint to stay with a woman like Letty and most of the universe would agree. But he never sees it that way. It is HE who feels honored to call her his own and through all the muck and mudslinging that ensues, Shades calmly sticks by her side. OMG he is simply wonderful.This book is not for the faint-hearted and that's really too bad for them. This well written, yet wildly inappropriately worded journey made me effing smile. The craziness, the over the top antics of this passionate bunch of rockers is contagious. Their newly-created birthday club scene was as raunchy and erotic as they come. And boy did they come. And often I may add!The whole gang is here one more time and we even get a glimpse into their manager Jillian's world a bit. I'm hopeful we hear more from her at some point in the future.Kendall Grey pulls out all the stops and then pushes it even a little bit further. Thank goodness. She takes a page from her heroine and writes what she wants, no holds barred. To say that is refreshing is an understatement.I highly recommend starting with Strings and meeting this rocking crew from the beginning. If you're like me, you'll be sad when you reach the end of Rock but know that deep in your heart, the Rock will continue to live forever.A huge 5+++ stars!

This book is the fourth in Kendall's series about a rock group, Killer BuzzFloat. (order: Strings, Beats, Nocturns, Rock.)They are complete storylines within each book that hook you into reading them in order.The style is so far removed from the typical romance genre by creating a world that is far from your average life. Yet why do I fall in love with these characters? My excuse, I was lured by the poetic writing style and shocked by all that happened but then suddenly Im caring deeply for these people.Kendall shows her love of the English language in her playful descriptions that I believe makes this book stand high above a lot of Rock'n roll romance novels.If you're looking to read one that breathes into your creative soul, then this series is for you.Rock delivered.***I'm still not convinced that these characters aren't really living and I'm going to hear about Killer Buzz Float on the festival circuit sometime soon.***

WOW!!! I was so excited to see another book in this series. But please be warned, this book (actually the whole series) is not for the faint hearted. It is full of hard-core sex. I love all the characters in this series, but Letty is the absolute best. This book had some intrigue which I loved, but Kendall Grey kept to her writing style of in your face characters.You must read this series in order to get the full affect. I pray to the rock gods that their is another book in this series

Kendall has taken Letty and the crew on another rollercoaster ride of life. I laughed out loud (too many times to count), I shed at least one or two tears ('cause I protect my heart too) and I blushed at the wanton sex life of rock stars! I'd hate to be the only one that relates this book in the series to the on-going life challenges that face us all and how to deal with it. We all deal differently... some morph it into a story about a girl, who is so self-protecting, who has to trust the people she loves to actually love her back ... flaws and all. AND THEY DO!!! AND WE DO, KENDALL (but we don't see your flaws because our love for you is unconditional). Can't wait for the next in the series.

This book was good Letty back to her awesome bad self Shades surprised me a lot and the band are always a laugh there was lots of drama and hot scenes definitely not for the faint hearted I couldn't put it down had to know how it ended 4 Dirty rocker stars!!!!

Having read the other books in this series I had high hopes for this one and boy I was not disappointed in the least. The others wre hot but Rock just rocked the hot into hotness phewweee. It was good to here more of the shinanigans and goings on of KBF gang . Like in the other books I giggled and got hot under the collar and had more than my fair share of omg moments where I was turning the kindle this way and that trying to imagine what kindle had written in the scene (that woman has more than her fair share of imagination ) . Loved the book love the series and cant wait for more .
