Treble Bezel (Deluxe) for Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Guitar

A piece of small size and price, but a great value. The icky pickup cover of the Rickenbacker 4003 gets in the way of most players, and when you remove it, an ugly hole remains. This bezel fits nicely to cover the gap, and serves as a thumbrest as well. A must have, if you ask me.One suggestion though: Before attempting to remove the pickup cover, check Youtube for instructional videos. It is not difficult, but not as easy as a Fender bass. If you think you might not get it right, you should let someone else do it for you - like your guitar tech.

The very first thing I did when I received my Ric was to remove that bridge pickup cover. I then realized I needed to fill the gap that remained and found this piece. It was easy to install and looks great!

The bezel for my Ric 4003W bass works fine and makes an otherwise awful looking hole around the treble pickup look good. It's as though it was a stock item on the Ric.

Perfect fir for the 4003 Rickenbacker bass. Eliminates the sharp edges remaining when you remove the treble pickup cover to access that area of strings for easier playing.Installation was also easy.

I wish rickenbacker made something like this because no one likes the standard pickup cover. Mine was wobbly, so I was looking for something to replace it with. This fit the job perfectly. You won't regret it.

Much improved hand position and greater control over tone from finger position on the strings!!
