US Military Stuff. Capitol Flag Case with Certificate/Shadow Box with Realistic Cherry Finish – Holds 3’ x 5’ Flag. Made in The US.

I ordered this flag case for Christmas. When it arrived, not only was the glass completely shattered, but the wooden frame was broken too. (That took some doing because I tried to break the joint from a piece that was already broken off, and I couldn't do it with my hands.) I contacted the company explaining the problem and they sent me a new one right away at no cost. It arrived quickly, and in perfect condition. I can tell you it is made with real wood because I could see it because it was broken. The hardest part was folding the flag, but it was designed well so it wasn't much of a problem getting the flag in the case. They give you instructions on how to mount your medals, but I didn't need them since I was putting in a certificate only. They give you a piece of foam padding so the certificate stays in place. I am sure I could have gotten something cheaper, but this case is really nice.

This thing is much nicer that the photos give the impression of. I was given a flag flown over AFG and needed a way to present it and this was a PERFECT solution. You are definitely paying for the quality here, but who wants to present one of these flags in a cheap case. It should be presented with distinction and this case performs that beautifully.

I order these shadow boxes on a routine basis. this last order came in a different size and interior not put together the same as previous orders but the item number is the same. very disappointed in the change of item. item advertised is still the old dimensions and style.

Could not get the flag to fit properly.

Overall very pleased. Only problem is that if you have a 8 x 10 certificate you will have to buy a custom matted frame. Hobby Lobby charged me only $8, while Aaron Brothers wanted close to $50.

The name of the case implies that it will hold a flag that was flown over the US Capitol. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It is too small for the official flag. Additionally, the finish is very fragile. I set it down on its face to put the certificate and flag in and the finish on the face came off.

Some of these products can be hit or miss, this one is a winner. Great quality, awesome fit and finish. What you put in these displays is usually pretty important so don't go cheap.

This flag case was just what I wanted. Made in the USA and everything :) It fits the flag we received and the certificate that came with it just right.
