Don't be lazy and read the directions, a 3 min read prevents bashing a really good product. Have my complex gate, garage and relatives gate programmed in.

I like the size and appearance. After I got it programmed it is working fine. I encountered one small setup snag when I tried to program button #1. After completing step 1 to place unit in setup mode, and step 2 holding down existing opener button, step 3 kept failing when I pushed and held button 1 to apply programming. As a test I was able to apply programming for the same opener to buttons 2, 3, and 4. That verified that the unit was able to work with my opener. After trying different approaches to program button 1, I discovered that a momentary press and release of button 1 between step 2 and 3, and then a final long press of button 1 was successful. To me this was not a show stopper and may help if you have a similar issue.

The remote you sent DOES not work with a Genie 2028 garage door opener … I have worked with it for a day and a half … i looked at every video I could find and nothing … it is an expensive piece of garbage

This clicker works equally well for garage doors and community gates. Since I purchased mine, several family members have too. We are all happy with it.

Since the first day the item has had issues with the buttons not working, pressing on them does not light up the remote. They randomly start working again sometimes and other times they do not. There is something wrong with the device.Edit: The Seller reached out to me, was helpful about the issue and promptly refunded the item.
