On the First Day of First Grade

It’s a cute book. Unfortunately my son started first grade in virtual learning but he still gets the idea. He wishes he could go to “real school”

My first grader loves it and enjoys reading it.

Extremely cute book with wonderful illustrations. I bought this for my granddaughter’s kindergarten promotion and she loved it. The FUN repetition in the words of the book encourages her to read the book by herself. Very happy with my purchase.

Such a cute re-telling of the 12 days of Christmas but for first graders. Perfect for the first day of school.

I understand that children tend to enjoy repetition, but this book takes that concept pretty far. There isn't much content here, and my daughter became bored with it halfway through. We'll probably end up donating it to our public library.

I wasn't impressed by this book. It is very boring, repetitive, and doesn't help a child feel more comfortable with the change from kindergarten to grade one. If I had seen this in store I would not have bought it.
