I read the reviews for cheaper items but I decided to pay more and buy once. I do not regret my decision. This Bergeon watch strap removal tool is Swiss-made and of the highest quality. I removed the horribly stiff strap on my Tissot T-Classic Everytime watch and within seconds I replaced it with a comfortable Hersch Osiris calf leather strap. A very satisfied customer.

As soon as you take it out of the package you can feel the quality difference between this and the free tools that come with straps etc. It's got a good weight to it, and feels solid and secure in your hand. Although it seems a little pricey, it feels like it's going to last forever, and being able to unscrew the tips mean they can be replaced if needs be. The fine tip on it grips the springbars with ease, and feels very secure when in use. No risk of slipping and scratching your watch case. The straight bar end is really useful for the full drill-through lugs on my dive watches too.

I can not believe how good this watch tool is. Having used cheap Chinese alternatives, which constantly break and shear. This watch tool is fantastic well made and does its job perfectly. Wish I had of bought it before going through rubbish cheap tools made of soft metal.

It's not an exciting tool, but you cannot flaw the quality of the construction: it feels reassuringly weighty and solid. Probably over-engineered for what it is but there's not questioning this will do its job with aplomb.
