Very nice camera but low light performance is very bad
Very nice camera but low light performance is very bad. I probably should have looked at this closer before purchasing. If you want a nice high definition wide angle camera this is great but make sure you don't need to see anything in a dimly lit environment.

my new back-up camera
I didn't expect such a clear view with this camera. It looks like you'll need an active USB cable and micro-USB adapter to connect it to a cell phone, but that's my plan: use an old cell phone and a USB camera to see behind my van when I'm backing up. I think this'll do the trick quite nicely!

Cam works great to monitor the inside of my laser!

Perfect, just what I was looking for
Perfect, just what I was looking for. I've got a very small area that I wanted to get a camera on and this camera worked perfect. I'm using it on a Raspberry pi 3 B+ and it worked right away as soon as I plugged it in and installed the webcam utility fswebcam. couldn't have been easier. I was originally going to buy one of the cameras without and enclosure and build one but for a few bucks more the enclosure on this is way better than what I would have made and best of all it's already done. The 170 degree field of view is more than adequate to see everything I need to see in my very tight space.

Exactly as advertised!
I intend to use it as a security camera. I plugged it into my OpenWRT router and it fired right up. Nice clear image. Nice enclosure too.
