EpicBison Bacon Cranberry Bars, Grass-Fed, 12 Count Box 1.3oz bars

I have bought Epic Bacon and Cranberry Bars close to 10 times because they are so very sumptuous! I've always received 12 bars and they have always arrived in great shape! The box always arrived untaped and easy to open. These bars are softer and easier to chew than other jerky I've tried and are much more friendly to my teeth! They do quite a bit of sugar in them but are great for a treat that's got protein and is lower carb! They have notes of bacon and cranberry and can replace a meal when you add fruit and veggie! Alone, they are more of a snack. My only complaint is that they are expensive but they do go on sale at times which helps! I need to try their other flavors!

Very tasty and onion and garlic free! See guys, you don't need that stuff that many have a nasty reaction to in your jerky. This is more of a bison meat treat than jerky as it is moist and has pork in it. Very hard for me to find something without onion or garlic in it. Took me a half hour on here to find something.

I have been purchasing these bars for a few years now. I primarily use them for Lunch while up Alpine skiing. I recently bought a box of them as I could not find them available at the Store I was shopping at.

Pro... taste OK, not overly salty or spicy. Cranberry a great addition. (I would like a bit more of it.) Texture a bit soft but not mushy.Con.. need a sharp knife and 2 hands to open the tough plastic package. No good for knifeless children. Not convenient to access while walking. One star off.Value...that's your decision.

Don’t waste your money. This is hands-down some of the worst tasting jerky I’ve ever had. I got multiple different flavors of the epic brand and all of them tasted disgusting and left me with buyers remorse.

We tried these a few years ago on a road trip and loved them, so I wanted to order them again. I find conventional beef jerky to be too dry and salty, and I'm allergic to ingredients in most plant-based "protein bars". These seemed like an excellent choice for a lower-carb snack. When the package arrived at our home, it was a hot day. I found that the flavor seemed OK but a little odd, and the texture was slightly unappealing. Then I remembered that it was winter when we tried them before. After chilling the bars in the refrigerator, it made all the difference in the world. They were very good. If you take these hiking or on a trip, take note. Keep in an ice chest or take for cool-weather excursions. Note that the packaging around each bar is secure and difficult to open. I was not able to tear it open and had to use a knife or scissors. Prepare accordingly, then enjoy!
