Wera 003592 Zyklop 8796 LB Extension Flexible-Lock 3/8-inch Drive 200mm

Limited use so far, but like the lockable drive and feel when being used. Quality and finish are great.

Mind you don't look at this item quickly, as I did, and repeat my mistake. I was looking for a 1/4" 'bendy' extension to help reach into inaccessible corners and thought this was such an item, probably from the picture that shows a black ridged element along the shaft. I interpreted "flexible" as bendy and assumed the black part was some sort of spring. It's not. The shaft is solid chrome vanadium all through and no way is it "bendy". The "flexible" in the description refers, of course, to the locking mechanism whereby a socket can be locked onto the drive end (or not). But despite it not being what I wanted it is, as with all Wera tools, a well engineered item, a pleasure to own and a great addition to my tool kit. No way is it going back!

Good quality 1/4” extension bar for your 1/4” ratchet, fits in the Wera maintenance set well if you have one of those which only comes with the short extension bar. Worth noting as other people have that this is not a “flexible” extension as in bendy in the middle, so if that’s what your looking for then look elsewhere I believe they mean the extension has “ flexibility” in the sense it can be used in lots of applications I think that’s what there getting at, but to be clear this is solid piece of metal with a black plastic collar around the middle which gives you something to hold while the bar is turning.Would recommend this to anyone looking for a 1/4” extension, reasonably priced good quality item

I like the sturdy shank, and spiner sleeve but the tiny little buttons that locks the drive looks very flimsy, which is made of plastic, other than that it's another good product from Wera.
