D.Please keep the clear film cover on the mat when storing after use. E.Can not wash with water,or the stickiness will be weakened. The thinner mat only causes issues with vinyl & thicker cardstock. like Stampin' Up!. Use Tips: 1.Cardstock,Pattern paper,Pearl Paper,Vellum,Printer Paper,Vinyl,Glitter Iron-on,Handmade papers,Washi Sheets,Craft paper,Thin fabrics,Embossed Cardstock,Light Cardstock,Printable Sticker Paper,Construction Paper,Window Cling,Printable Fabric etc. 2.Although they do go through the machine the outer edges don't line up with the edges of the Cricut mat. The cutting will not be in the same place as where you want it to cut. It's not a huge difference.you can measure and cut some of the material off the top and left side to get it lined up even close to right. 3.Also, they are much more flexible & less prone to snapping. Even though they retain the stickiness better, getting your material off is so much easier than the Cricut mats. Your material won't shred & tear. 4.They're much more durable and the stick is both long-lasting while not overly sticky at first. A sopa and water rinse will get the lint off without removing the stickiness so they'll last a long time. Package includes: 3 pack cutting mat

BUY THIS! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
I had to review this! This was incredible! I will never buy another Silhouette blade again! I wish I had known this before. This blade system is amazing. It cuts the tiniest, hair-thin detail...so clean and fine that the weeding is super easy! I couldn't believe just how easy it was to weed. I called people to tell them to switch to this blade. After reading the other reviews, I am in full agreement. You will not go wrong with this product. The seller is just as awesome. I got this in less than 24 hours and I had no problem with figuring out how to set the knife depth. I might have gotten lucky but I set it and it cut perfectly on the first, (and every) try...I watched a video on YouTube and it showed how to set your depth by using a scrap of vinyl and using your hand to hold and pull the knife housing with the blade set to where you can hardly see it...and with a little pressure you pull it across the vinyl. Do this several times while adjusting the screw, until it does not cut the backing paper. I laid a magazine under the vinyl to protect the table. After it cut nicely, I put it in the machine and tried cutting test squares. It cut the first square perfectly! It has cut about 30 more designs and still going strong. I love this blade system! I am buying more for different uses.Good luck!

Works perfectly in my 1st generation Silhouette Cameo
I purchased this product after reading about it on Silhouette blogs. Given some of the negative reviews here, I was not quite sure what to expect, but after a few tries I'm convinced the negative reviews come more from operator error than from issues with the blade holder and blades. This set contains the blade holder itself and three sets of five blades and springs for three different cut angles: 30, 45 and 60. I only used the 45 degree blade which corresponds to the standard Silhouette blade.Installing the blade in the holder is delicate and requires good dexterity and eyesight: you unscrew the black tip, insert the blade, add the spring, screw the tip back on. The hard part is making sure the blade goes to the right place and the spring stays on.Once you've installed the blade, turn the button at the other end of the holder to adjust the cut thickness. I used a scrap piece of the card I was planning on cutting to test the blade setting and make sure I was cutting all the way through but not more than needed. Then, install the blade holder in the tool holder on my first generation Silhouette Cameo and voilĂ .I tested using a very intricate design that had given me trouble before with a brand new Silhouette blade; many small details had required manual weeding. With this blade, all the negative space remained stuck to the mat on the first try, even the tiniest cuts (I'm talking about circles 1/2mm in diameter). So, while it lacks the convenience of the dial-by-number setting of the blades (and the autoblade on the Curio 3) it more than makes up for it by delivering a very high quality cut.Another benefit compared to the OEM blades: you can adjust the settings without removing the tool from the holder, so you can tweak the cut depth quickly if your test cut shows you needs this little extra bit of depth. While using this blade undeniably adds some degree of complexity compared to the OEM blades (especially if you use the Autoblade feature on a Curio 3) I believe the cut quality and cost savings more than make up for it (replacement blades cost a little over a buck)Very highly recommended.

Last forever, and make detailed, clean cuts.
These blades last forever. Out of this multi-pack, I'm just about to replace my first worn blade - purchased in Nov '17, currently Jun '18.I use the sharpest angle for a range of simple to very fine and detailed cuts on my Silhouette Cameo 2 (which I also purchased on Amazon, and it's great!). Until I bought these blades, I was using Silhouette's brand. Unfortunately, they just don't last very long. I use my machine very often, and use it mostly on plain adhesive vinyl, metallic adhesive vinyl, and heat transfer vinyl.Important note: there was a brief period in the beginning where these blades seemed to have trouble making complete and clean cuts when turning corners. A dab of oil at the base of the blade when installing the blade in it's proprietary holder, solved the issue immediately. Applied a very small drop twice in a little over six months.

It's a really fine line here
I cannot say enough good things about these blades and cutter. After the initial setup,(Putting blade together and setting blade depth) it's hard to explain the cuts you can get from these blades so I posted a few pictures.

Best Product Ever
I absolutely love this blade and holder. I will never again buy a silhouette brand blade! I have not messed up one project using this project, before I could never get glitter paper to cut, problem solved. It even cuts the thinnest lines with no issues. Each set of blades has it's own case. The only issue is that I can say is that it doesn't give you directions on what blade to use on what material. You will have to go to YouTube for that. The picture is a cake topper I cut using the blade.

Defective
This cutter is terrible! For starters, it came with NO instructions. Thankfully after watching a few YouTube videos, I figured it out. The blades are high quality and very sharp, but it won't adjust properly. When it's set deep enough to cut, it drags across the vinyl, scratching the surface. When the blade depth is adjusted to eliminate scratches, it isn't deep enough to cut. Bummed I wasted so much time trying to adjust it... missed the return window :(

Works well with CAMEO 3
I've seen some videos where it has been hard to insert these into the CAMEO 3. I don't know if I am lucky or the manufacturer fixed it, but the adapter just dropped straight in on mine. Also people have mentioned putting the blade into the holder and adding the spring is fiddly. Can I recommend a magnifying glass, strong light and most importantly handling the blade and spring with tweezers (which will save you sticking yourself).Doing it this way was really simple and once in I have to say these blades cut like a champ, I'm hoping they last a nice long time, but even if they don't they are still a lot cheaper than the Silhouette alternative.
