Works perfectly with my Mac Pro (late 2013)
This upgrade is totally worth it compared to the prices that you would've spent when this configuration was available at Apple ! Bought Two for Mac Pro 2013 Upgrade
Great shipping time from order and both CPUs were packaged very well. Both CPUs worked and now have two Mac Pro 2013s with good specs!

12 Core Xeon Processor upgrade.
While this isn't for everyone to try, the installation videos by OWC were right on and great. My Mac Pro (Late 2013) is now screaming at full capacity. This is an Intel Xeon 12 core that is renewed. I would get the extra insurance when using these for peace of mind.

Was skeptical, but pleased.
I used this refurbished processor to upgrade my Mac Pro from four cores to twelve. The processor worked perfectly and I’ve had no issues since installing it. At 1/10 the price of a new processor, this was a no brainer.

A lot of processors
After installation and boot-up, my machine showed it was running 48 cores. Now, that's a lot cores and I haven't noticed that of an improvement to my machine's overall performance but everything in the operating system seems to function.

Remember - hyperthreading shows up as double the cores in your OS.
Processor seems fine after installation, but I totally ordered the wrong part because the lower model has half the cores.Luckily the processor is still compatible with my hardware, so it's not a huge issue. I still got an upgrade. I'll probably end up ordering another one to fill my 2nd CPU socket on my server like I originally intended.
