University Games Flickin' Chicken

I bought these crazy flicking chickens for my nearly 9 year old son for Christmas. They were a big hit with him and everyone they have come in contact with. It doesn't matter if you play by the rules (which are similar to golf) or make up your own you really can't go wrong. He even convinced his great uncle, great aunt, aunt and uncle to play with him all a separate time. When his great uncle was done playing he had me share this item with him so he could purchase a set for at his house and they were delivered before he got home from his trip. They are just as fun for adults! I have since bought a second set to give to a family friends son for his birthday. They seem very durable, however one of ours lost a leg when my husband got it stuck in the vacuum and pulled it out without turning it off first. I am going to try and super glue it back on. This is one of funniest games I have seen in a long while and is good for kids of all ages! My son had so much fun posing these guys for different pictures with his new flip face cat.

This game is hilarious! Summary: You have a frisbee-like disc you throw and then that is the target. People each have their own rubber chicken and then take turns throwing them at the disc. Every throw is worth a point, and points aren't good, so you want to get part of it touching the disc with the least throws possible. Once a part of your chicken is on the disc you are done for the round. Now here is where this gets interesting...there's a circle on the disc that could make you gain another point or lose one, so it you don't land the chicken just right you could end up losing or gaining a point. The game overall is fun, easy to learn, and the chickens are hilarious and nice quality. They are thick squishy rubber and definitely bouncy. This game is good for adults and children.

I go camping every summer with a group of people and I got this game for that purpose. We had a good time with it and we are all adults. The chickens make things interesting as they don't roll or bounce the way you want. Plus we played in the woods so we also had trees and bushes and rocks to make things especially fun. The chickens do pick up dust but we didn't have a problem with them collecting dirt and particles like some people commented on. I mean the chickens are Rubber - so obviously they are going to pick stuff up. But really they just got dusty from us throwing them in the dirt. DONT step on them or squeeze them super hard - one of them deflated but we were able to fill it up with a bike pump and it was fine. It was a fun game that we enjoyed. It's not the craziest of games but if you like to just play games with friends it's worth it. I plan on taking it camping next year again.

So yes.. the chickens bounce everywhere.. But that's what makes it fun! Get creative and put a hula hoop around the target to create levels of points awarded. It really is impossible to get the chicken on that small red Target so make a wider range. These are fun on the lawn or in the pool. They float and you can try to toss them into donut shaped pool floaties. These chickens are all around fun to play with and you can make a game out of them so many ways. The kids played with the chickens for hours and adults have fun with them too.

My 11 year old son and I played this game and had fun. It comes with 4 chickens, thus up to 4 players. It does come with a mini golf type score book which is nice. The basic premise is you throw the target disc, which looks like a Frisbee. Then you throw your chickens are the target. As with golf the person furthest throws again until everyone hits the target. You do this for nine rounds and then game ends. The game is best outside where you have a large distance you can throw. In the house it only takes a few throws it get to the target and makes for a short game.This game is fun for kids and adults and makes for a great party game.

Bought this before our camping trip and at first the boys thought I as crazy. But the we played and it's a super fun game! Yes they dirty quickly but we are throwing them on pavement and dirt. It's an outdoor game. Dirt happens. And one had a small rip due to our rough boy usage. Again you get what you pay for! It's a comical outdoor game. And we played it a few days in a row!

What a hoot this game is. Totally unexpected when brought out at parties. Great fun for those with fun sense of humors. We all loved it. Great gift idea.

We have a few friends who also have this game and it’s been hours of laughs. You have to find the biggest pan you have, stand back and try and get them all in (helps if you have a few drinks) 4 in the pan =chicken soup!! I challenge you!!
