Votivo 8.5 oz Special Edition Holiday Candle Red Currant

I just love the Votivo brand and Red Currant is my favorite. I first heard of it years ago, when I was reading an interview with Madonna of all people, and she was going on and on about these candles - specifically the Red Currant. When I happened upon them in a gift store a few weeks later I grabbed it and it was love at first sniff. I've been buying Red Currant Votivo candles for 8 years now and love giving them as hostess gifts. The holiday version comes in a beautifully festive box.

BEST FRIGGAN CANDLE EVER!!!!!!I worked at amazon and was helping out in Warehouse Deals with grading and all and this was one of the items. Of course it was broken so it had to be sent to get destroyed but it smelled so amazing that we kept it sitting at the desk because we constantly wanted to smell it.All three of us ladies that were working there that night wrote down the information on the candle so we could buy it.TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!Can't wait to get the set.

Good scents are highly subjective. I was not sure if I liked the red current scent out of the box, but I must say the house smells lovely when it is burning.

My Votivo candle is a disappoinment! For one thing, the scent is barely there. I, literally, have to stand over the burning candle and all I get is a whiff. Secondly, after paying $30 for the soy candle, I expected a clean burn. That was a letdown too. It burns unevenly so I have a hole in the middle of the candle while the outside wax hasn't melted at all. I was hoping for a nice candle to buy as Christmas gifts but after my displeasure with Votivo, I would not buy another one for anybody, me included!

I bought this as a gift for my aunt. She loves the scent. This is how it looks inside.

This candle looks and smells beautiful. The jar is gorgeous. It has a strong throw. A wonderful holiday scent.

I've bought quite a few of these candles from amazon after finding them at Halls for about 10-15$ more. These smell great and make a house feel like a rich inviting home. I recommend them and give them as gifts all the time.

These are my favorite candles and easiest to order on Amazon. Votivo's red currant scent is the only one that doesn't bother my sensitive olfactorysystem!
