This was worth the extra few dollars for a perfect fitting phone holder that is central, yet out of the way of the vents. It snaps on easily and was quick to install without even looking at the directions. It holds my iPhone X beautifully (the weight of the phone moves the side holders in and out when placing in and removing) and keeps the dash looking sharp. I was a little worried about it fitting a 2015 X5 since that year wasn’t listed but it fit perfectly. Great purchase and so happy I found it!

I wish it would hold larger phones. My Samsung note with outbox case does not fit very well. It does stay in place well on the dash. The area for adjustment should be able to get tighter to prevent the phone from falling forward.

I purchased two of these phone holder. The first one broke so I was like maybe it was me. Got another one and it did the same thing after me be very careful. This phone holder won’t last 2 weeks. Don’t buy a ripoff. Scam!!

The back sometimes when you don’t screw it right, the phone gets too heavy so it drags it down. Also, you can’t tie it too tight because it won’t let you, there’s a delicate balance that needs to be adjusted. Overall good. But I just got CarPlay installed it’s better that way.

Tried several types of mount, none fitted perfectly because of the infotainment. X5-02 fits 2016 X5 and works with iPhone 8 Plus.

Good product. Best phone holder I found for this specific car. Could be better.
