Good quality electronics, marginal mirror
I'll start out saying I am generally satisfied with my purchase, and it works as advertised. The components are well made, and the camera image from both front and rear cameras are very good. Mounting was easy and plenty of wire was supplied. Regardless of which image mode you are using, when you shift into reverse the rear camera and guide lines immediately appear. I do wish the guide lines were adjustable - they are in the wrong place for my Honda. My main issue is with the glass mirror itself, which is too reflective and makes it impossible to see the LCD behind it during the day. The LCD is very bright, and when I place an anti-glare filter in front of it it's easy to read. Problem is that with the filter, you can't use the touch screen! The pictures above illustrate the problem. One picture is with the mirror in a normal position, and the other tilted downward to minimize reflections from the back window. With the mirror tilted, you can mostly see the video, but with it set normally all you see the reflection of the back window. Since I purchased this product due to very restricted rear visibility in my Honda CR-Z, this is not good!My only other issue is with the mounting. The rubber straps are easy enough to use, but at certain speeds the mirror vibrates so badly that the image (or reflection) is unusable. Also, the mirror is a bit too large for my Honda, and with it in place I can't use the sun-shades properly. So, this is about the 4th backup camera I've purchased. I have returned the others, but I think this one is good enough to keep! I'm working on some ideas to improve the reflection problems and I'll post if I have any luck with it.

Definitely a peace of mind
The main reason I bought a dashcam is to help me to have the first-hand evidence in case of a car accident.First, what I don’t like about add-on rear view mirror (including dash cams).1. It has a little vibration when mounted. I have used other dashcam and I think this is a common issue. Now, why did I choose this particular dashcam:1. URVOLAX has front and back cameras that record at the same time, which is a huge plus.2. The additional GPS accessory is great to have to integrate and record more information and serve as additional evidence.3. Ease of use and flexibility. Loop recording and G-sensor is a must for me. I replace the 32gb with 64gb right away so I’ll have long recording time before it loop.4. The rear camera has enough length of wire to help you place it where ever you like it.5. The resolution is really good, but I find it better to use the live view at night. One thing I wish it has is auto on/off live view so you don't have to keep pressing the switch whenever the environment is dark (tunnels, at night, and/or parking garage). I only have this product for a month and so far I’m very happy with this product and I definitely like to put one also on my other vehicle.I’ll get back for an update if there is anything to report. Only time can tell how reliable this product is.Hope this helps.

It is really great! I was not expecting this level of quality.
I have been using this for a few months now, so I feel qualified to write a review.I have had mirror-mount dash cams before, and have felt less than enthusiastic about them... This one, however, is amazingly good.First off, I prefer mirror-mount cameras because they are less obvious to others that there is something special in the car. I feel that windshield-mount units are just asking to be stolen. So, let me tell you about this camera and my installation.I installed this on my 2014 Chevy Spark EV. Visibility to the back is pretty shameful in this car from stock, so I wanted to add a backup camera. Adding one to the stock system would have cost over $1,000, and I wouldn't get the dash cam feature either, so that was a hard no.Installation was straightforward, and there were design choices that helped. For instance, on the rear-view camera cord, there is a low-profile barrel connector that helps facilitate snaking the wires through existing grommet holes and cableways. You have the option of tapping into one of your reversing lights to automatically activate the reversing camera when you shift into reverse, and I suggest taking advantage of that.Operationally, the camera is great. The image quality is better than others I have tried, and it can get a good read on license plates. The mirror is touch-sensitive, so navigating menus is super easy and intuitive. What I love is that the entire mirror can turn on as a screen. You also have the option of swiping up or down to change which part of the video feed you're watching. So when backing up, you can look down to the ground, but when driving along, you can look straight back.Overall, I am super happy with this purchase, and will probably buy another one for my van.
