Its ridiculously small compared to the cost. Its 1 inch x 1/2 inch. Other than that its very well made and just as pretty as the picture used by Amazon. Just small. I had intended to return it but because of its size it was easily hidden and I didn't find it till today, 6 weeks later. Size is the only issue I have with it.

I really love these insect broaches. They look great on jackets and sweaters—adds a little interest to an otherwise dressed down outfit.This broach is solid, well crafted with good materials. I get a lot of compliments.

The scarab looks fantastic, delivery was prompt, but the the pin used is extremely thin, and it will not go through any kind of thicker material, which is what I needed it for. I cannot ding the seller, but I am somewhat disappointed nonetheless.

Adorable brooch but I guess I should have gotten out a ruler to see how small the measurements actually were. It is absolutely tiny! So bummed because style-wise it is exactly what I was looking for... sadly doesn't look like much unless someone is right up next to you. I have many brooches both vintage and new and none are this small for the price.
