If I were to add one thing to this to make it the perfect tool, it would be a RJ-45 coupler so that you could plug into cameras regardless of how they are terminated.

A handy little commissioning tool
The hardest part of setting up and commissioning POE IP cameras is that you're usually unable to view the live feed at native resolution when you're at the camera. This is usually a trade off where you'll either need a second person at a computer communicating to you remotely or you're viewing the camera view on a tablet or even smartphone. With this little tool, all you do is plug the ethernet tail into the back of it, plug the attached plug into the camera and then plug another ethernet lead into the side and connect the other end to your laptop and you're online viewing the live camera feed.
