My first ever rotary cutter and it was definately a good buy!
Takes a bit of getting used to but it cuts fabric really well. Not great for little fiddly shapes but I have a small craft knife for them. Blades are ultra sharp so be careful, you don't need a lot of pressure to cut so make sure you have a good quality cutting mat underneath. So far I've tried cotton, corduroy, denim and satin. Comes with additional 3 Blades in a nice little holder to keep them safe and has a good security button to keep the working blade back when not in use. Don't know how long it will last but I'm guessing due to the sharpness and the extra blades, combined with it being fairly sturdy, it will probably be for quite a long time. I'm very happy and feel it was great value for money.

It’s Fabulous!
I am embarking on a Super king sized memory quilt for my daughter, but as I suffer from Arthritis and trigger finger I thought I would give one of these a try. About to cut something out today I suddenly remembered this wee tool and decided to try it out. It’s Fabulous! I thought I’d have to keep going over it but no! It cut through four thicknesses of cotton like butter. I am absolutely delighted, this is going to be so useful when I start cutting out for my quilt. It is really easy to use, I am very impressed and wish I’d got one years ago

Good but blunts quite quickly
This is a great little fabric cutter and easy to hold use but the first blade has started to go blunt after a couple of dozen uses. It will be fine for casual users but even with the additional blades regular users will be needing to buy replacements quite quickly. Having said that, the low cost of thiis may well be enough to cancel out the extra spend required for many.

Great! Sharp, smooth lines, easy to use.
Quick, smooth lines. Not had one of these before, but, as I'm doing a lot more sewing and craft I thought I would try one. First use was to trim down a new, replacement roller blind. Breezed through it, with a really smooth line. The last time I had to do this was with scissors, it left such a messy edge. I have since used it on other materials, and don't think I will be returning to scissors!! Well worth the money, and you get two spare blades, very good value. Just one thing to be careful of - the blades are VERY sharp, so remember to lock it closed when not in use.

The best Rotary cutter so far for me! Fabulous! Highly recommended.
After getting frustrated with rotary cutters, I seen this one and had to give it a try. This is my 3rd one in 18 months as I have been really not happy with the other 2..(driffy and DAFA), as they would just not cut a straight line without wandering off and the blade being wobbly! This one bought a smile to my face when I used it today for the first time. I used it on quite thick faux leather (with fabric backing) and it went through it so easily...and in a straight line! The whole feel of the tool is very comfortable and I tried for the first time to cut free hand around a pattern shape (always only used these cutters on straight pieces) and I was so pleased! I felt so confident as I was cutting as I could just tell it was going where I wanted it to which was a novelty for me. I have now cut several pieces with ease and it is fabulous. Yes you may get a strand of fabric that has been missed but that is nothing. I noticed and have experienced that some sewers complain that the blade catches on the thick acrylic rulers that we use, what I did was purchase a long metal rule (actually a spirit level rule) that is fabulous as it has a longer cutting edge and also a thinner edge with a handle to hold in place. I find this so incredibly helpful when I have long pieces to cut and there is no blade catching on the edge as it is thinner. Link attached. Overall I am for the first time, very very happy and confident with a rotary cutter! I highly recommend this rotary cutter and couldn’t be any happier. Works with ease
Brilliant device, easy to use and cuts material with ease. Comes with 3 spare blades and all is easy to change. Nice to hold and when finished can lock blade back into place to prevent accidents. Very pleased with purchase.

Bit disappointing
I've waited a while to review as I wanted to use them a number of times first. Have to say it doesn't cut very well - even with just one layer of fabric. Also if you use a straight edge guide such as a ruler the edging of the product prevents the blade from reaching the product effectively so you have to cut at an angle. The safety lock is effective.

Time Saver
Saves so much time when cutting patterns. The blades are sharp so even after two sewing projects I am still on my first blade. Grip makes them very easy to use and they look well. Small bit of wobble in the blade but not enough to send you off course if you know what you are doing.
