Every Bug out bag or 72 Hour bag should have atleast 3 of these. You can't depend on batteries or electricity for emergency lighting when your life might depend on it. The red makes seeing and reading at night much easier but there are other colors available.

over priced
Ok glow stick, but had to give it two stars because it is extremely overpriced, just because it has the word "tactical" in it. Did a side-by-side comparison with the Cyalume 6" snaplight, and the Cyalume is a quarter of an inch longer and slightly brighter with the same true 12 hour running time, at half the price.
